The inflammation became hardened yesterday, which I expect is common with this sort of thing. The swelling had gone down a bit with the tissue salts and antibiotic herbs, but I repped again and Silica was starting to show, which is a remedy I have done very well on in the past. So I compared Staph, Merc and Sil, and decide to try Sil 200. I had nightsweats all night, which I haven't had since I was given my first dose of Sil a year ago. But I'll have to wait until tonight, when everything is aggravated, to see if it has helped the hard swelling and pain in my jaw.
Thanks for the tip Snoopy, it's a good idea. Fl-ac was also in the list of complementary remedies, and that had come up in the rep, and is a syph remedy too, like Caust. Thanks Dr Leela and Shashi - I have been using my Meditation Blend oil, because it is the only thing I have Clove oil in, plus it's got Myrrh in it. The herbal mix I've been using instead of antibiotics is Garlic, Pokeroot, Echinacea, Calendula, Cleavers, Olive leaf. I'm using these things instead of prescription meds, but from a homoeopathic perspective I know they aren't much better. [ 16. September 2002, 01:53: Message edited by: Elena R ] |

Silica is a good choice, Elena, seems like you know a lot more than you give yourself credit for.
I hope it works out. One or 2 days ago I noticed I had a swelling behind my right front tooth, and I sort of remembered "missing" with a tooth pick I had used the night before, and I thought, "Why not try Silica." I took one dose of 30C and now the swelling is almost gone! Good luck, Snoopy |
