My first patient was one with Hep C, and she was cured after about 18 months. All tests now show no signs of the illness - even a biopsy of the liver. There is definitely hope. The treatment, however, must be individualised to the patient - what worked for her may not work for others with the same disease.

Respected David,
Quote:
It will be a new info for you. In the normal condtion the HCV virus gone to incubation period after three months. If you could hold the patient for three months and don't give any medicine. It is quite possible that you will see positive response in alt sgpt etc. values. Some time in HCV cases, after three months, you can observe the value of HCV in negative. It does not mean that the patient has been cured. I treated 17 seventeen cases of HCV. Only five were fully recovered after 40/60 days of treatment. while in rest of the cases values went down but the hcv was not shown to negative. but patients are comfortable. Nit acid, Nux Vom, Bell, Nat mur, Nat sulf, cham, acon, bry etc etc were tried and got good result. Chionanthus and chelidoium in mother tincture form are our DICLORAN injection of allopathy (a pain killer having diclofenac sodium). If you will give these in mother tincture form. it will decrease the lft value instantly but will not cure the case. only wel selected constitutional remedy can cure the case completely. 18 months are too much. Lastly, if you feel that i am personal with you. then i am sorry. But don't put confuesed replies. ![]() [ 11. September 2002, 08:12: Message edited by: Homoeo Dr. Mujahid ]

I also have HepC, diagnosed in 1996. I have been treated with allopathic Interferon/combo therapy, acupuncture, chinese herbs, vitamins, herbs and homeopathy. Sadly, none have cured me, but I believe my quality of life is good and hope to prevent or prolong the time to liver transplant. In my situation, I will repeat any of the above, except the Interferon/combo therapy. But that is just my choice, not a recommendation. Currently, I take a regimen of vitamins prescribed by an MD/nutritionist, and Cean, suggested by a Homeopath on this board.
Hep C is a serious disease, and possibly life shortening. I recommend that you find an MD experienced in nutrition/vitamin therapies, and a homeopath to consult. Diet and treatment are important components to a successful cure or 'fight' with the disease. The board is very helpful, but suggest you find someone to treat you locally, and experienced in HepC if at all possible. As for the ALT of 97 or liver function tests, in my experience it is not a reliable factor in tracking the disease. I have had readings in the 300s and in the 70s since diagnosis. They can vary dramatically from blood test to blood test. Albumin is a better indicator of how your liver is functioning according to my MD. I also have low platelets, 40s, which indicates liver damage and a swollen spleen as a result. Since the disease generally progresses very slowly, I sugggest you track blood test results in some organized manner for comparison. If you change MDs over time it will valuable to them as well. Good luck. Keep your life low stress and positive. While it is a serious disease, I have found there are many much worse. |

Let me clarify my response.
The patient' symptoms disappeared completely within two weeks. The patient needed two remedies alternated over a 4-5 month period to clear the total variety of chronic diseases she had. She tested positive for Hep C for 18 months after treatment, and then she tested negative. At this point, I considered her cured of the Hep C. I was referring to her medical diagnosis of Hep C now showing her as cured, not the homoeopathic diagnosis, which of course showed her as cured much sooner. Most patients and all orthodox doctors are only interested in the positive or negative status of a Hep C patient. Hep C is not classified as a curable disease, since it is believed to lay dormant for many years in an asymptomatic patient. I apologise if I sounded incompetent by this lack of clarity.

Dear RDS,
Maybe you could send David a private email and see if he can help you. I remember thinking you might need Ceanothus because when last I talked to you, your spleen was quite enlarged? Correct me if I'm wrong. Anyway, as I said, maybe David can be of some assistance here. Carol! 15 lashes with a wet noodle! Snoopy |

someone could be offended that you were offended by me and then someone could be offended by them being offended by you being offended by me being offended by the original offender. Unlike our current government which can't put checks on checking we need to put a check on this thing before it gets out of hand.
