ode to the indispensible man (or woman)

Sometimes when you're feeling important,
Sometimes when your ego's in bloom,
Sometime when you take it for granted
you're the best qualified in the room,
Sometime when you feel that your going
would leave an unfillable hole.
Just follow this simple instruction
and see how it humbles your soul.
Take a bucket and fill it with water
put your hand in it up to the wrist,
pull it out and the hole that's remaining
is a measure of how much you'll be missed.
You may splash all you like when you enter
you can stir up the water galore.
But stop and you'll find in a minute
that it looks quite the same as before.

My native language is Punjabi. My national language is Urdu. I am a poet of Punjabi language. I am quoting one of my stanza from my Punjabi poetry. Please translate it into English for non Punjabi speakers.

BANDA AGLA REH JANDA AAY
BOHTAY YAR BANAWAN NAL
AGLEE GAL WEE REHNDI NAHI

Weather change when you arrive,
Weather change when you bid adieu,

BANDA AQLA REH JANDA AAY
BOHTAY YAR BANAWAN NAL

One remains the loneliest soul,
Even amongst thousand friends,

AGLEE GAL WEE REHNDI NAHI
BHOTI GAL WADAWAN NAL

Keep playing the same harp,
Kills the beauty of the song,

What did I understand from your verse?
Instead of looking towards the miseries of the past, Look into the eyes of the future.Repetition of all what has been done in length earlier will result in heading towards no where.Keep an eye on future. By discussing previous incidents. Future will be lost.

THIS BOARD WAS ONCE GREAT AND EXCITING,
WITH MEMBERS FROM NEAR AND FROM FAR.
BUT SINCE THIS PAKISTAN TAKE-OVER,

KEIOU NA HO NAAZAN YAY DHARTI APANY JAN NISARAON KAY WASTAY
