Mancinella is a specific for that feeling. You could also generalise it across to Dreams, nightmares, lying on back, which is card-m, guai, ind, iod, and SULPH.

Mancinella people very specifically fear possession by the devil.

Thanks guys for the replys

carol - Out of body experience? That is interestinmg as the person says they feel like they are being pulled out or upwards - the first time it happened - years ago - the person described it as if they were raised up almost near the ceiling and they woke up with a thud. But why the possession experience with and out of body experience?

how important is the lying on back?

It used to happen to me in my twenties...only when I lay on my back...and I think it was fear that made me think on a two occassions that there was a little devilish figure at the foot of my bed. So for years I lay on my side. Then in my forties...it started happening again...but I had learned from others who had similar experiences that the fear was because the soul or spirit was about to leave and the ego was pulling it back into the body with fear. Once I actually had the experience of going into another room in my house in this soul state(concentration was the key because it kept me from going into fear) and finding my husbands dog who had died lying next to him(in spirit form?)That freaked me out and poof I was back in my bed...awake and running down the hall to tell my husband that his dog was still with him.

One of these later times...maybe twice...and where I forgot to remain conscious....where the devil figure came up and another when I moved into my new house.....I had taken thuya.

Also, I learned from others that sometimes when you are in a total new situation...out of your habitual way of doing things...thats when out of body experiences happen.

Many of you might think I 'm nuts but there is a whole generation of people born in the early 70's who this experience is quite common. Since thuya is close to cannibis..maybe their parents were smoking dope when they conceived them.

Its also common for people who have been severely abused as children to recall as adults that they left their bodies alot as children and traveled all over the place.

There are many books on the subject...one author might be monroe...I know two women who were into meditation who consciously traveled places at night and in the end quit doing it realising they were born into this world and here is where they should stay.

A male friend found himself looking down at himself and his partner at night while they were in bed and was so freaked he was looking around expecting to see the devil or something bad.

One of Rudolf Steiner's book, 'A Road to Self Knowledge' is an excellent description of the experience and includes instruction of how to avoid the negative experiences that Monroe had.
