What potency and how often are you taking it? Also when you take it, are you taking it when specific symptoms ome up or are you taking it on a regular basis, even if symptoms don;t reappear?

I only take the Nux vomica when I have digestive problems. It is 30c, and I probably average taking it about once a month or less. Mainly when I have a lot of sinus drainage from the allergies. I never exceed the recommended amount.

HI,

Just butting in, HOmeopathy has very good treatment for allergies and could drastically reduce your intake of antihistaminics or whatever you are on.

But it wil have to be a remedy that covers your case completely, taking into account general symptoms (including mind) as well as specific sympotms of your allergy, you nerves(!) and your digestive tract.

We call this remedy a similimum. So if you have access to a classical homeopath, that would be my suggestion rather than trying to find a remedy yourself.
