Question

Would be appreciative if Ricky, Shirley or anyone familiar with Dr. Ramakrishnan's protocol could clarify a point regarding dosing.

When would the first dose be given when changing to alternate month split dosing? Wait one month after the last dose in the daily plussing routine for the first split dose or is it given sooner?

My Julio cat has been on daily dosing for almost 15 months (4500 doses!)and is doing very well. Last time I tried stopping the daily dosing schedule, he slipped backward but hasn't yet after 5 days off the regimen. His remedies were hydrastis/carc, with a very few doses (about 8 ) of Lyc LM 1 during this time.

I did not raise the potency above 200 during the protocol and plan to begin the split doses at 1M. Perhaps I should have used plussed doses at 1M/10M before stopping them but didn't.

Another question.....sorry. Should he begin to decline, can one return to the daily plussing?

Is there an internet discussion group focused on the protocol? I contacted Dr. R's US representative but I think the interest level is not high in cat treatment.

Call them back and say it's for a person and they'll probably give you the information you need.

Thanks, Shirley. Decided after reading your reply... what the heck and emailed Dr. Ramakrishnan himself! He answered....! Did as you suggested, no mentioning *cat*.

For those interested, he has a conference cheduled in NYC in April. Saw some of the names of registered attendees and there are a lot of vets on the list! Jill Elliot DVM, NYC is the contact person to register, I believe.

Hi!
It's my 1st time of HH BB, - a friend notified me of your dilemma. I'm Dr Ramakrishnan's UK assistant & I have 3 cats myself (who leave him covered in fur!) I'd be happy to help if you want to get in touch.
PS he's also having a homeopathic summer school in Corfu, Greece in May - happy to give info on that too!

What a kind offer, dragonfly!

Have been using Dr. Ramakrishnan's protocol guided only by his book. I hesitate to reveal this kitty didn't even have proper medical testing prior to beginning the course. He once died (actually did during a vet exam, vomited, aspirated and fell over dead from fear, he is terrified of being out of his own environment...left over from being a trapped feral ) ..was revived. So doing the normal testing at a vet office was a stumbling block. Sent off hair samples for biofeedback evaluation that indicated the location of the cancer. Proceeded to Dr. Ramakrishnan's protocol from there. With dread, I might add. So much medicine! But he was obviously not going to live very long at that point and I figured there wasn't much to loose!

Julio kitty and I are just picking our way through this. Dr. Ramakrishnan stated that tests should confirm time to begin the split dosing but that probably won't be a possibility for this odd kitty though I have located a vet with ultrasound equipment who makes the rounds to vet offices and hope to be able to arrange a home visit.

I hope you will be a regular visitor to the BB. I will most certainly be in touch with you for guidance if need arises....how wonderful to know you are there! Thank you.

How sweet of you to think so!
Of course, testing is the only real way to know what's going on, get the ultrasound if you can, but we know our cats well, and I am sure Julio is keeping you informed in his own way.
It sounds to me like you both want to give split dosing a try - I would wait until the month is up UNLESS Julio looks like slipping back - start then, and again wait. If you can't get to a month without frightening yourselves, then I'm afraid it's back to daily treatment, and move up to 1M. And lets face it, it's better than the alternative, isn't it? You can try again after a while on 1M.
You have done really well with Julio's treatment, little kitty must have a strong need to stay with you!
Keep in touch - email me direct if you like.
Love & light to you both
Clare

Ricky, I am well aware of the gift of Ms Dragonfly! Or damsel fly! Wow, Julio sure did get lucky finding her on the HHBB.

He was as close to death as I've seen when he started the protocol. Could not take one step and stool was like raspberry jam, whole body shook in pain. Tonight, I had to stop him from stealing food from another cat. In my little world, this is pure joy.

Thank you again, dragonfly.

Well, you have Hoppitt415 to thank really, as she forwarded the topic to me & prompted me to get logged in.
Any help you need at all for Julio, or any other patient, furred, feathered, scaled or even human, just let me know.
I love to hear stories like yours & Julios. Keep up the good work.
