Guys, I would really appreciate your help with this. I’m finding it quite restrictive trying to be home at the right time for my next dose of medicine. I know the bottle has to stay clean and refrigerated.
Is it possible to pour a couple of doses worth from the refrigerated bottle into a clean, empty one to take with me so I can be out for the whole day? Succuss as normal, I assume. And, this is the bit I've been puzzling about: when I come home and I’m using the dosage bottle from the fridge again, if I normally do 10 succussions before each dose, would I now do thirty succussions to take into account the two doses I had taken out of the bottle? I hope you’re all well. Regards, Star |

Thanx, Hoppit. (Fab name.) I didn’t know about ice sleeves. Really useful. I was wondering about a cooler style thing.
I’m a bit reluctant to take the bottle out if I don’t have to, just in case it gets dirty. If I go on holiday, an ice sleeve will be the perfect thing. Best, Star |

Dear Star,
So glad to hear you're doing OK. I look forward to getting the details. Right now, I'm using my husband's computer because apparently my AC adapter stopped working, the computer switched to the battery and the battery completely ran down, so I'm waiting for a new adapter to come from California--probably a week, and my husband's computer is so inconveniently located that I don't get to post very often, but that doesn't mean I'm not interested in hearing how people are doing, it just means that I'm not able to spend as much time answering as I usually do. I'll be glad when things get back to normal! Snoopy |

Dear Star,
who told you that remedies must be refridgerated? That is a superstition. The bottle can remain in your bag, and will be unaffected.

Dear Star,
I recommend refrigerating when the remedy is in a see-through, clear bottle, to keep the light out. If your remedy were in an amber dropper bottle, for instance, it wouldn't have to be refrigerated, especially if some alcohol was added to keep mold from growing, as Shirley pointed out. It seems to me you have things under control. (By alcohol, I mean Brandy or Vodka.) Snoopy [ 09. August 2002, 17:36: Message edited by: Snoopy ] |
