You can try Ruta 30 three time a day for three day only. A dose of Arnica 200 after three day. It is enough.

Rinse your eyes under cold water daily. Use proper method of sitting in front of computer or monitor. Give rest to your eyes after each hour and do some other work instead of prolong using of computer.

One more thing do relax and enjoy discussion don't become panic after reading non sense remarks or inputs.

Hope,

“Feel like I am falling down while looking/reading on the computer monitor."”

This is the symptom of the patient. This was the single symptom put by a patient. We can’t prescribe without taking the whole case. A doctor have to see the cause of problem.

I suppose the person is in the habit of too much sitting in front of monitor. He devotes much of his time in reading from monitor.

1. Too much heavy work. 2. Too much sitting in front of computer / monitor

Monitor omits radiation which directly attack our eye ball, retina and eye muscle including the arteries which are carrying blood. This causes slight obstruction in the flow of blood towards eye. Which results in the weakening of eye muscles. As a result, eye will develop strain.

A patient will not tell you the origin of symptom. That’s you have to find. Long lasting eye strain will result into vertigo / headache.

When the vision will become diminish, again the patient will feel strain and vertigo type symptoms. Such person will definitely not tolerate radiation which are continuously omitting from monitor.

Due to heavy work load, too much reading from monitor and too much sitting in front of light / radiation omitting from monitor will result into such symptom which the patient is telling us i.e. falling down

See which remedies will be suitable for such complains.

1. First cause

eye; pain; pressing; straining eyes (2)
eye; pain; as if strained (2)

Ruta

2. Second cause

eye; intolerance of light; after straining the eyes (2)

Arg Nit

3. trauma due to monitor rays and lights

Arn (Major Remedy)

We all know that arnica has the property of providing balance in the flow of blood towards affected parts. Why do we suggest arnica in trauma cases. The reason is when arnica will enter in our body. It readily convert the flow of blood towards injured parts. Arnica will provide assistance for smooth flow of blood in the eye muscles. It will recover all injuries due to light / monitor radiation. Ruta, will cover all major eye problems including eye strain and muscular weakness plus vision disturbance which are the major cause of feeling falling down. Ruta is specific for 90 percent of eye cases.

I did not consulted repertory. Some time, you don’t find symptoms in common repertories. This was my point of view for suggesting ruta and arnica alternately. This is my clinical experience. I generally don’t follow homeopathic philosophy in single symptom cases.
