Someone asked me for help...since i'm just a student...Teenage girl, visibly swollen glands, throat feels swollen, gets hot flashes around her head, feels hot, hungary all the time..mostly for salty food. She plays the flute and she was to make an appointment with a teacher for a public recital and she really wanted to please the teacher and was worried because she hadn't played the flute for a long time...so some performance anxiety and now that she is sick..in hospital..she is worried about missing school..as she is good student. A cancre sore in her mouth preceeded her getting ill. Normally, when she is ill..she gets rashes ..skin stuff from allergies.

I'm going to go try to work on this myself...but I'm feeling kinda sick myself...so if anyone could help out...would appreciate

She normally has a good appetite...though she is very slight in build...so she just might be hungary because she can only eat small portions because of her swollen throat. Also..the cancre sore was on the left side. I don't know if its normal or not to be hungary with mono...with the fever..listlessness, etc.

she is also worse in the evening..I realise there isn't a lot of information here and I'll keep trying to get more.

I can't find cancre sore..is there another name for that?

Funny, I'm looking after a young woman who's just come down with Mono--initially misdiagnosed as flu. Seems there may be an epidemic!
