My experience with repertorisation-programs:
In comparison with the written sources they tend to have a lot of mistakes, particularly the older type. The Synthesis computer version is identical to the book, as the book is a printout of the program.

It is up to the homeopaths discretion in how far he/she further compromises the reliability, already doubtful in the newer synthetic repertories, for an apparently quicker access.

The quickest way to arrive at the right remedy still remains good materia medica knowledge. One only needs a reminder here and there from the provings. Second to that is the card repertory, and then maybe the computerised versions.

I would advice you to set yourself a time by which definite improvement should have occurred. If I don’t get a positive response in chronic cases after the max. of 5 days, I dismiss the remedy and look into the case seriously. In acute cases it is hours to maximum of a day. I would be suspicious, if my homeopath is unwilling to tell me the remedy he puts me on. You already expressed this in this post.

Thank you... I just left him a message. I don't think the remedy did anything bad but also nothing good and I still have very bad ear pain. I gave it 5 days and I feel nothing but in pain..no aggravation to the remedy ... just nothing. I really did want to go to another homeopath that snoopy recommended but I agree I should give him a second chance and i don't want to jump around. I also now know it's better that I know the remedy.

I went up to the nurse today and she checked my ears and they looked fine. The ear painis worse today though. She discused with me having nerve damage or viral infection that are hard to pick up on an MRI. I am very depressed right now. Also my teeth feel so sensitive as if someone did dental work on them???

I know know one here is an MD but after the first fluid seen in my ear and then all the burning I had.... could the burning of my eye ears nose and throat and urine have be a viral infection??? In that case why would it stay in my ears still. I am just trying to figure this all out now wondering if my situation is something more complicated.

I don't want to have to take heavy drug from the neurologist to kill the pain... I want to avoid all that but am wondering if maybe I have a virus in my ear/s ?
