I am on Arsenicum album LM1 and have been on this remedie since Saturday. I am feeling very nervous on this remedie and jittery on this remmedie and like I am on speed. Every thing is racing past me and my teeth feel like energy is passing through them my head feels like energy is racing past me. Chris guillen left me an e-mail of what to do and I took two cups of strong coffee but feel the same. I don't have the remedys on me that she told me I could take but if I thought it would help could try the health food store during my lunch hour. Everything is flashing in frount of my eyes and head like the wires in my head have disconnected. Is there anything else I can do? I thought coffee would do the trick but it didn't.
Since there is a time difference I will no speak to her until tonight and am having a hard time typing at work and I keep bitting my finger nails which I have never done in my life and my leg keep moving back and fourt while I sit down becuase I have such nervous energy running through me. I feel like my nerves are shot! Also I have to sometimes put my hands over my ears becuase it's like I am in the bell tower of a church and the lould sounds have me having to cover my ears. I had two cups of strong black coffee.

Her note to me was:It sounds like you are in a Coffea state, too much energy, oversensitized to
all stimuli, noise and pain. You are really on edge, and I understand it is
an unpleasant state to be in.
If you can get Coffea cruda 30C fairly quickly, get it. Otherwise I would
suggest a strong cup of coffee or two.
Second best option homoeopathically is Nux vomica. I believe you have some
of this in potency?

We will talk about all of this reaction tomorrow. It will pass.

The coffe did not work .... will the other remedies work?

There is no way of knowing for sure if the other remedies will work or not, but they do seem well indicated. As long as you have some Nux with you, try it first. Otherwise get both remedies at the health food store and start with the Coffea. I always carry Nux with me because it's such a useful remedy.

I did go out and get the coffea 30C ... how long does it take to kick in. Do I take it just once? I soory to bother people on here but I am having trouble doing my work and I don't feel well at all.

It seems to have doen a little something more than the coffe but it doesn't seem to have completely made me feel better does one does usually do the trick?

It is my understanding that you should only need to take once. I too have had ill effects from remedies simuliar to yours, it will pass. The fact that coff gave some relief is a good indication. It is also my understanding that LMs work quickly and therefore also pass quickly. If your state is at a level that you can handle now, its probably best to wait until you can contact Chris.

Thank you so much for your reply.. I was feeling so out of sorts I didn't think it woulld pass from anything since it was three days of this... but the black coffee did nothing and I was suprised the the coffea 30c did something. Also just people saying they have had a similar reaction makes me feel better.

Thanks
Danielle

Do repeat the Coffea 30 IF the improvement you have had from it starts to go backward again. Also if your symptoms don't continue to improve you can repeat in a few hours because this is an acute problem and the remedy will have been used up quickly.

With LM's as soon as you get a reaction of any type you should stop the remedy.

Dear Danielle,

you had stopped the Arseniscum hadn't you?

How long had you been taking it before you had this reaction? How long after stopping it did you need to take an antidote (the coffea)?

It is always important to stop as soon as you feel any change on a remedy. The LM's are just as likely to produce an aggravation as any other remedy, so the guidelines are the same. If you feel worse, stop. If you feel better, stop. If you feel no different, continue for the number of days your practitioner has suggested.
