May be you know that in our society mother in law has a major role in bringing marriages successful, begetting children and ruining of families. Most of the mothers in laws feel happy when her son threaten or menace his wife at her front. It was a routine matter before Bhagwan gifted me with twins. After getting twins, her behavior with me is altogether changed. She got two heirs, which was her first demand after my marriage.

She started forcely giving me DESI GHEE (Enriched local butter) mixed with warm milk and LASSEE (Diluted yogurt mixed with pure milk) in order to enhance my breast milk production. As result of this procedure my milk production increased but at the same time my both sons got throat infection. Both boys refused to suck milk from nipples. Both are feeling throat pain and are crying now. My breasts became heavy and stiff due to over milk production. Few times I used Milk Extractor for sucking extra milk from the breast but unfortunately nipples got inflamed.

The present condition is, nipples are sore and painful with slight ulcer on the tips. Rest of the parts rigid and painful. Both sons have throat pain and yellowish diarrohea. Yesterday, I took Puls 30 and nit acid 30 alt after two hours. I feel slight change in the symptoms.

Any body having experience of getting rid of all these problems.

Hi Dr. Meena Ji,

As you are a Homoeopath yourself, What do you think of taking phytolacca 30 and see what happens and this will also take care of fatty food you have been taking?

Just a quick thought.

P.S. And also give your mother in law a dose of Nux Vomica. What do you reckon???????

The decision is yours.

Mother in Laws are a total pain in the neck .........tell yours to butt out ......

As for engorged breasts .....soaking face downwards as best possible in a hot bath is best relief along with remedies already suggested

You guys dont have thrush do you?
It sounds alot like thrush to me, either that or your babies are allergic to dairy and all the dairy you mother in law is forcing on you is upsetting their systems.

Dear Meena,
I sympathize with you (I have two Mothers in law - both nurses, both thought they knew best
However I managed to breastfeed successfully..
Borax can be used for oral thrush at the start of an infection, when a child cries on nursing. Safe to give to the children if indicated- just dissolve the pillute in water & give a tiny drop to each child on the end of a straw or something similar.
Personally, I used non homeopathic PawPaw ointment for sore/cracked nipples. It helps speed the healing process amazingly.
Also bathing the breast in diluted mother tincture of Arnica after each feed can help. Make sure that you wash off any topical treatment before next feed.
Phytolacca for mother is also a good suggestion if breast infection seems to be starting.
For ulcerated nipples, look at Sulphur, Silica.
For blistered nipples look at Graphites,
and for cracked nipples with abundant milk, <pressure,>fresh air Calc Carb

Hope these suggestions are of use

You succeeded, the reason is that both of your mother in laws don’t find time after their own mutual affairs, conflictions and discussions. So they didn’t think about you to give you some suggestions or opinions how to manage your breast feeding and what to eat during breast feeding. But the situation is different where one mother in law is present and she has no other matter to discuss except to feed his son about her wife.

My wife is retired nurse and she effectively managed her lonely son because her mother in law was very afraid of her. She impressed her on the very first day of marriage with her personality and education.
