Would there ever be a situation where multiple remedies are needed, or does one remedy just do the trick? I'm aware that even some homeopaths are lazy and will prescribe multiple remedies for symptom managment, but are there 2 schools of thought on multiple remedy prescribing? It might be a dumb question, but I'm still really new to homeopathy..

Tom,

About starting projects and not finishing them,
is it because your energy gets all used up? Or is it that one thing leads to another? I wonder if you could give us a typical example of what you mean?

Thanks again,
Snoopy

Tom,

You say when you wake in the morning, you feel anxiety-ridden and short of breath. So what happens then, do you go back to sleep? And when you finally wake up for the day do you still feel anxious and short of breath? Do you feel anxious and short of breath every time you wake up, even if it's from a nap?

You say things really got bad 2 years ago. What happened around 2 years ago?

Are your feet and legs cold all the time?

Dear Tom,

In your case, only one remedy is needed. There are definitely cases where more than one remedy is needed--patients with serious diseases whose symptoms change constantly, people in accidents with multiple injuries, people coming out of surgery with a multitude of problem areas: nausea from the anesthesia, paralysis of the bladder, trapped gas, painful incision, and so forth...so you start by giving a remedy for the worst thing and take it from there.
In your case, just one remedy--in the beginning, at least.

Tell us about your dreams--any dreams you can remember.

Also day dreams--can you give us some examples?

Your overall appearance--tall? thin? blonde? pale? red lips? etc.

The constipation--is that with or without urging? Did I ask already how long you've been constipated? Since childhood or since recently?
Is it, per chance, because you don't want to go in a public bathroom or somebody else's bathroom, so you put it off until it's too late? Or would you have no qualms about using a bathroom away from home?

How do you feel about animals?

What are the things that you feel passionate about?

Thanks,
Snoopy

Hi again Tom...

Regarding your fear of public speaking, I know that you're worried that you'll make a fool out of yourself, but do you, in fact, make a fool out of yourself, or, is the "audience" totally unaware that you are uncomfortable? Do you come across as being normal? Do you sail through after the first few words? Is it only rough on getting started?

Also, if speaking to strangers, etc. causes a headache, do you then have a headache every day?
Does it go away soon after the social encounter or does it hang on for hours?

How often in the average day will you have this kind of anxiety attack where you'll have to speak to strangers or someone in authority, and how do you try to recover from it when it's over? What do you do to make yourself feel better...drink some cold water, go for a walk in fresh air, breathe deeply, etc.?

Tom,

I don't believe I've asked you about digestive problems. I know about the constipation, but is there a problem with gas and bloating, for instance; or burping, or diarrhea alternating with constipation, or gurgling noises or nausea, etc.?

The girlfriend who left you...did she give any reasons why, and how traumatic was this, did you ever get over it? How did you respond to the break-up?

Dear Hoppit,

The problem is, I have too many ideas! He fits a lot of remedies--even Ambra Grisea! He's gotta at least answer this last round of questions or I'm not gonna know.
