Do you have any warts?

How do you feel about onions and garlic?

Do people ever tell you that your sentences trail off or they can't hear the last words?

How long have you been constipated?

Is there cancer in your family history?

Do you have moles?

Do you welcome consolation or does it aggravate?

How are you with regard to neatness?

How do you feel about travel?

You say you like steak; fat or lean?

What about chocolate?

Lets see... why am I afraid of heights? Well, unlike my social anxiety it's not a debilitating, paralyzing fear. I can climb up on top of my house with ease. But if, say, I'm on a skyscraper or a really tall rollercoaster, I get a little bit dizzy.. and I haven't always been that way.. the dizziness has some along fairly recently.

My body's warmth: Yes, cold legs and very cold feet. My groin is a bit cold as well. My hands and arms feel a bit cool at times, but nothing like my legs and feet. My torso seems to be warm and my head is usually pretty hot.

What were your parents like?

My mom has always been really nervous. She told me that she had social anxiety when she was younger. the only health problem she has (other than nervousness) is hypothyroidism. In fact, my sister, 3 aunts, 2 uncles and my grandma all have hypothyroidism. I've had an extensive thyroid analysis (including an antibodies test) and all have come back negative. My doctor recently started me out on 1/2 grain of Armour thyroid after diagnosing me with subclinical hypothyroidism and it seems to help a bit with my constipation and headaches. But I'm really not sure if it is what I need, or if the thyroid is only extinguishing some of my symptoms.
My dad is really laid back. Ocassionally, though, he would wake up on the wrong side of the bed and become extremely irritable. Actually, I shouldn't say occasionally.. it was more like 3 or 4 days per week. Every other time, though, he is laid back and in a humorous mood.

Had a stye a couple of years ago that lasted for, it seemed like, over a month. I have recourring eye ticks... usually my right eye twitches.

When I talk to myself, I usually am having an imaginary converstion of some sort. I'm always fantasizing about being in a certain situation where I'm saying alot of really witty things, etc..

Music, dancing and thunderstorms...

Well music I love. I love classical music as well as some more modern tunes.. especially funk. Seceretly (well, not so secret now) I dance around in my house all of the time. I've never learned how to dance, and I'm a goofy white boy with no rythm, so I've never danced in public. Thunderstorms I love! There's just something about being indoors while it's thundering and raining outside.. and I love the rain, and I especially notice that I enjoy cloudy, dark days.

No warts.

I looove onions and garlic. I'd eat them with just about anything.

No, people haven;t ever told me that about my sentences. I'm a really loud talker (and talk with my throat, not my diaphragm.)

I've been constipated for about 4 or 5 months now. Before that, I drank alot of coffee, which kept me regular. But I gave the coffee up because hot liquids seemed to make my anxiety worse, as well as it being too stimulating.

No cancer, with the exception of my great uncle who worked in a CO filled autoshop for 40 years and smoked 2.5 packs of cigarrettes every day.

Consolation definately aggrivates.

I'm very sloppy and unorganized. My handwriting looks like Kindergarden doodling. I've been that way from the time I was born. My mom used to say that when I was a toddler I got more food on the floor and on my face than I did in my mouth. And I had a problem potty training. It never really bothered me to run around wearing a dirty diaper.

I really like travel. I always love going to new places and getting away. I can get carsick and do experience jetlag, but none of those things stop me.

My steak.. I don't like fat (I'll always cut it off) but I like there to be fat on it when it's cooked.. It gives the steak a better, richer flavor.

I can be a sucker for chocolate. Sometimes I do crave it, but it always makes me feel nauseous after eating it.

And the time I have the lowest energy is definately around 3 or 4 P.M. If I can do it, I usually take a nap about this time.

Again, thanks alot to Snoopy and everyone else!

Dear Hoppit,

That was my first thought, but I didn't want to come to a hasty, impulsive decision. He didn't say what I wanted to hear when I asked, Why do you think you're so sensitive to sweets?
He didn't say, "Oh, I've eaten soooo much junk food over the years, I guess my liver can't tolerate it anymore!" In fact, he said that come the nighttime, almost all his symptoms are ameliorated, including the sensitivity to sweets!

He also didn't give me the famous Lyc. agg. time.
That reminds me:

Tom, when we say What's your worst time of day,
we mean: when is your energy at its lowest. You mention 11:00--which made me think of Sulphur, because Sulphur simply must have something to eat at 11 or they feel faint and weak and shaky, but then you said that 11:00 is bad for you because that's when you come in contact with the people who make you nervous. So...that isn't quite what we mean; because any time that you came in contact with these people would be bad for you. So, to rephrase the question....If you were on vacation somewhere ONLY with your best friends, when would be your worst time of day?

Thanks,
Snoopy

Hi,

I have a few more questions.

Are you married?
Do you have children?
How do you feel about your wife, your children?
How much do you like being around your your wife, your children?
If you are not married or do not have children, how do you feel about that?
How industrious are you?
Do you feel like you have enough time to get everything done that needs to be done?
How do you feel about being in your home vs being out somewhere?
How sedentary are you?
Do you enjoy excercise?
Do you like washing your car or watering your lawn?

Thanks,
Shirley Reischman

Tom,

How do you feel when two people you like are having an unpleasant arguement? What is your response to this circumstance?

Do you have any strongly held beliefs, things that you're passionate about?

In terms of doing favors for people, how easy is it for others to get a favor from you? Do you easily lend money, type someone's paper, lend your car, and so forth? And how do you feel afterwards?

How do you feel about the people who make you nervous? What judgements do you make of them?

Thanks again,
Snoopy

Are you married? no

Do you have children? no

If you are not married or do not have children, how do you feel about that? well, right now I'm not really thinking too much about getting married.

How industrious are you? When I'm doing what I want to do (creative writing, for instance) I'm extremely industrious. I do find that I'll get on "kicks" easily. I am interested in alot of things, and do those things passionately for some time. But I rarely finish what I started or accomplish many of my goals. I usually move on to something else or become passionate about some other thing before accomplishment is possible.

Do you feel like you have enough time to get everything done that needs to be done? Not at all.

How do you feel about being in your home vs being out somewhere? It feels comfortable to be at my home, but, at the same time depressing. It feels exciting to be out somewhere, but, at the same time almost too stimulating. I would really like to enjoy my time out in public much more.

How sedentary are you? hmm.. more so than I'd like to be. Recently, I've taken up the goal of competing in a triathalon, but I find that I easily get pulled back into a sedentary rut.

Do you enjoy excercise? Swimming-yes.. weightlifting-yes, bicycling-yes, running-no.

Do you like washing your car or watering your lawn? not at all.. usually I feel like these things are real chores (even though they're not that hard or difficult to do)

How do you feel when two people you like are having an unpleasant arguement? What is your response to this circumstance?
Hmm.. sometimes it's entertaining. I do find that, before things get too heated, though, and someone is about to say something that they'd later regret, I usually step in and break the argument up.

Do you have any strongly held beliefs, things that you're passionate about? I do have very strongly held morals, definately.

In terms of doing favors for people, how easy is it for others to get a favor from you? Do you easily lend money, type someone's paper, lend your car, and so forth? And how do you feel afterwards?
I've never been comfortable with someone else driving my car.. When I have money, I easily lend it out (as long as I know that someone is going to pay me back..) Even times when I know that someone won't pay it back (like a homeless person who asks, I give them money. In fact, once when I traveled to Chicago I gave out about $50 in one night. I felt weak becasue I gave out my money so easily. So, I finally wised up and always made sure that I carried plenty of pocket change for the homeless.) Usually, when someone asks me to do a favor for them I do it. And I feel good about doing it afterwords (unless I think that I was manipulated into doing a favor.. then I feel guilty.)

How do you feel about the people who make you nervous? What judgements do you make of them?
Hmmm.. Alot of times I feel like they are judging me... perhaps reading alot into me. Some judgements that I make are that these individuals are very intelligent and able to spot my faults easily.
Also, it's not always just other people that I fear. I'll also fear myself. Many times I'm afraid that I won't be funny or witty or intelligent enough in a social interaction.. or that I'll start acting weird and embarrass myself.
Oh, and one last thing. I never told you all that I suffer, at times, from poor posture and backaches. I also have had acne for the past several years on my forehead and around my mouth.. if that tells you all anything..
Oh, and I see that I skipped over your wuestion about moles, Snoopy.. No, I don't have moles.. with the exception of a few small, flat ones on my shoulders.
