Now a days, a debate is going on in homeopathic magazines that homeopathic medicines cause effects on human body during dispensing. The vapors of these medicine entered into the body of dispenser through olfactory senses / organs. My purpose of putting this question up is to find any reality on this issue. Any body having experience of such incident. What I observed in past that during tumbling and dropping of medicines on homeopathic carriers. It is fairly possible that few drops may be dropped directly on the finger tips, which are highly junked area of capillaries. Homeopathic medicine can easily entered into the body through these ways. I have seen some doctors, who are good homeopathic practitioners. They are dispensing homeopathic medicines himself on daily basis for their patients. If they are daily touching the vial of lachesis then what will be the effect on the body. I used to exercise Arsenic Album for removing suppression of catarrh after the use of allopathic medicines. One day I thought on this point “Effects of homeopathic medicines during dispensing.” I smelled Med 1m after opening its bottle. Nasal discharge started after 18 hours. Which removed my congested nose. I don’t know, whether it was my fantasy idea or it was realism. -------------------- Find Help ??? click on www.Boger-Boenninghausen.com www.pannakkal.com www.hpathy.com www.homeopathyaustralia.com |

http://pub73.ezboard.com/fhomeopathy...cussenmnnhfrm8 In these forums, authentic personalities are giving medical consultations with proper location and email addresses. My favourite link is mentioned below. One can approach to their specific ailments as simone mentioned above. http://www.homeopathyhome.com/cgi-bin/bb/ultimatebb.cgi We should be greatful to simone who floated an excellent idea for establishing CAse Discussion forum on www.homeopathyhome.com I think instead of Miasm forum case disscussion will be more helpful. As Bhattia is not taking interest in miasm forum. He has gone on www.hpathy.com http://www.hpathy.com/bb/homeoboard.asp |

The general public cannot post cases on the Professionals & Practitioners Forum. So the only one available for general cases is this one.
Back to your original question, the homeopath I see has noticed that he has more problems with patients who are practicing homeopaths than with the general public and surmises it's because they are exposed to so many remedies on a daily basis. I have had one experience that really stands out in my mind of responding to a remedy when I opened the bottle. It would be very interesting to hear from others about their experience in this regard. This is a very interesting topic as I know one homeopath that is always spilling remedies on their desk top. I am sure it gets on the hands and is inhaled too. This practitioner is frequently/usually in an emotionally unsettled state. Maybe this is the reason?

My personal experience is that smelling and accidental touching of remedies does give a dose. The more 'sensitive' you are the more of a problem it is. I am sensitive enough that if I have touched a remedy I am able from that point on to pick its container off my shelf of remedies without reading labels...usually I will choose the highest dilution. I DO always read labels before dosing my animal or human patient. Has anyone else experienced this?

At the end of my 8 week practical homeopathy evening course that I teach every term (semester) the students dispense 10 remedies of their choice using pillules and medicating potencies. Although I always open the windows I can tell that the vapours are definitely in that room from the smell of alcohol. I certainly knew when someone spilt the Nux Vom on the floor as it made me queasy and nauseous but I am sensitive to Nux Vom. When students get the medicating potencies on their hands I always tell them to go and wash it off immediately. Basically I think that if you are sensitive to a particular remedy it will have an effect otherwise probably not. I always try to hold medicating potencies at arms length when I pour the drops on the pillules which I often do at home.

The question about dispensing of remedies is a genuine one as every busy homeopath is from time to time dispensing the remedies and the vapors do evaporate in the air or some times, he may spill the remedy by chance or through mishap.
The olfactory effects of the remedies observed, that it works and a lot said about it. We do not have to argue about it. However, does every body that exposed to the remedies gets an effect of the remedies is to seen. We all agree that we have susceptibility to a certain extant. Now we may not be susceptible to certain thing in life while we are susceptible to certain other things. The things we are not susceptible will do you no harm at all. However, the things we are susceptible will definitely have effects on us. Let us stop for a moment and not forget the Life Force. When a remedy administered on a wrong context, we observe that very little or no harm done to the system. Where as when the remedy given repeatedly administered, we start observing the effects of that remedy on patients and that to when it is close to the crude remedies. Hence, the immune system guards us against the effects of the remedy. It happens only when we are healthy and are in good vital shape. More over there are so many pollutants that are taking their toll on us every minute that we cannot defiantly pin point the effects to a certain remedy while a busy practitioner may be opening many remedy vials. Therefore, I think that we regardless of how many times exposed to the remedies spilled or evaporated remedies we are not taking the effects of remedies through olfactory route.
