Hello

Re: Vulva/Vagina Itching

My name is Shehla. I am new to this group.
Can anyone help or give me some advise.

I have been suffering from Vulva/Vagina Itching for the last 6 years. I have tried everything. I have used Homeopathy for 4 years now but it has not helped so far. I go to the Royal Homeopathy Hospital in Great Ormond Street in London. I am trying Acupunture and Herbal Tea now but that hasn't helped either.

I have used every steriod cream you can think of it has ruined my skin on my Vulva. The steriods did not help at all.

I suffer from body itching as well. My itching on my Vulva/Vaginal is worse a couple of days before my period and when I am on my period. I also get itchy breasts. I suffer from headaches, hayfever Exzema on my face.

My problem is a long story, this is just a short verison of my story. Can anyone help or give me some advice or even tell what doctor can help me. I can't suffer with this all my life. I have suffered for 6 years now. There must me some help out there, some cure.

I know Homeopathy is good but it is a matter of getting the right Remedies and the right doctor. It worked for my daugther who suffered from Exzema.

Please could someone help.

Please Email me on:
Anees.Ahmed@btinternet.com

Thank you anyones help would be really appreicated.

Shehla

Hi Shehla,

You need to find a classical homeopath. It seems clear to me that all this mixing--using herbs, steroids, and treatments that aren't compatible with homeopathy have just made things worse.

I'm concerned about the use of steroid creams to treat this illness--no wonder the homeopathy hasn't had any effect. Steroids are extremely potent drugs which greatly debilitate the body in general. They are a massive stress--a big challenge for the body to overcome, even with the help of a well chosen homeopathic remedy.

Has anyone given you a gynocological exam to rule out the causes of the itching on the vulva? What were the results? If this hasn't been done, go to a good gynecologist right away and look after this. You and your homeopath will have to be clear about exactly what is going on physically to cause these symptoms before you can find a good remedy for them.

There are excellent practitioners in England that you can afford to see. Ricky may be able to help you find someone close to where you are.

Hi Shehla,

You seem to have a general hypersensitivity allergic condition. The only reson that you have not been helped so far with homeopathy is probably because the correct similimum for you has not been found.

What you need to do is have your entire homeopathic history taken again by a classical homeopath and the correct similimum found. Of course a good case management would also be required.

All the best,
doctorleela

Hello

Thank you for Emailing me back.

Doctorleela as mentioned in your Email do you know of a Classical Homeopathy Doctor in London (England) that can help me. I realise that whoever I see will have to know the full history from the beginning.

Do you know because I have used Steriods for the last 5 years will Homeopathic Remedies still help me.

Your help and Reply in this matter will be really appreciated.

Thank you

Shehla

Hi Shehla,

Yes, homeopathy will still help you. The trick is not to use the steroids at the same time you are trying to affect a cure with homeopathy. The right remedy will help restore the hormonal balance which seems to have been upset (or aggravated) by the steroid use. I recommended having an exam done not to find the cause of your ailment, but rather to rule out the possibility that there is a disease cause (gonorrhea, chlamydia, trichomonaisis, or yeast) to your ailment. It is quite common for this kind of symptom to come up when women approach menopause or experience a depletion of estrogen production for any reason...and often it is misdiagnosed as something it is not--and the patient suffers needlessly.

I do think Sheilagh Creasey is an excellent idea. She is highly recommended by many people as a practitioner, and many others know her as a wonderful teacher. She's been at this a good, long time. Perhaps Ricky or Lisa will be able to give you some contact information via email or private message through the BB.

Also, to carry on our conversation on the BB, you don't need to keep creating new threads. Just open up your previous one and post on that one, so that everyone will be able to follow along or contact you if need be.

Don't worry--I do believe homeopathy can help you here better than anything else--but it must be practiced by someone capable. All that really needs to be done, as Dr. Leela says, is to find your similimum remedy.

Good luck,
Divina

Don't use the Post a new Topic button unless you are changing the subject. Use the post a reply as you have been doing. If you want to address someone specifically, on your topic...just address the message to them...as you have done when you responded to Divina. You're doing fine. Trust yourself.

To send a private message, you click on the 'private message' Icon which is in that person's post and send the private message to that particular person only.

As Carol said, you continue on the same thread by posting a reply as you did here. (NOT a 'new topic').

Message for Anna Bryant-Vulva/Vagina Itching

Hi

Thank you for replying to my email.

Do you have a Telephone Number or Address of Sheilagh Creasey in Hertfordshire
so that I can contact her.

I live in London (England). If you can advise me with any more information about my Vulva/Vagina Itching I would be grateful.

What I can do or who to see. I am really suffering, it is driving me mad. I spend most of my time phoning people and asking for help or advice. I started Acupunture the first treatment helped a bit then it went back to normal, the itching started again. I am now on Chinese Herbal Tea, no improvement at the moment.

My body is so stubborn it just won't respond to anything. I have taken and tried so may things. I think I have got to many things in my body, which may have made my condition worse. I am sitting here typing and feeling itchy.

How can I get all the medicine out of my body and start again fresh. Do you think I should just suffer a couple of weeks and give my body a break of all the medication I have been taking?

Hope you can help me.

Thank you

Shehla
