Streptococcus - Yes..sort of like what you get for sore throats..but this was a mild version....But still added to my issue. So my fantastic new doctor is treating these one by one. He was very mystified by the Lichen Sclerosis and the direct cause still...he has a gut feeling that after I treat the strept..and it does not clear up..I should see his recommendation for an "endocrinologist". He thinks there is an endocrine issue which maybe why I cannot fight these things. |

A few suggestions you might need to think about that may be constantly triggering all this 1) Is your water supply treated with Alum or Aluminium salts ( ask the water supply company)Also find out if Flouride has been added 2) Do you cook in Aluminium or foil or non stick coated pans 3) Do you use Vaseline Intensive care lotion ?,,,,,,,,,,,,It contains Aluminium as do many lotions 4) Does anyone else in your family have an Auto Immune Disease Thyroid or Diabetes or Endometriosis or myasthenia gravis or Lupus etc 5) Are there any foods like milk or dairy or wheat based that you eat every or most days 6) Have you considered that Washing powders or room sprays ,air fresheners etc may be a trigger even gas cookers can cause problems for some people I totally agree with others that steroids cause hell in the body as do many allopathic drugs Homeopathic medicines can cause problems if not prescribed correctly Sometimes you need to eliminate the hidden cause /trigger for symptoms like yours before Homeopathy can heal you Step back |

Ok..so now after being 10 days of antibiotics for the streptococcus...Almost all itching and skin is back to normal shape and fullness. I can't believe how great this is to finally kick this thing. To be back to normal..Normal is great!!!
I really do believe that the treatment of streptococcus could be the answer to multiple MISdiagnosis for jock/yeast/lichen sclerosis-(which there is nothing Hopeful on the internet about) The real culprit may be streptococcus bacteria. Once I go off the medication, and there is no return of the lichen sclerosis..then I KNOW, strept was the cause. I may have an underlying issue with my endocrine system being unable to stave off all the bacteria now..but at least I have NO MORE ITCHING after two years of constant scratch!!!! Yay!!! AGAIN..I stress..if you have an itch that does not go away with simple Monistat or diflucan. Get tested BEYOND what your doctor thinks. AND DON'T GET a VULVAR BIOPSY - It is a last resort AFTER all this testing gets done. FIRST off an injection right off the bat hurts like a son of a bitch because there are a lot of gynos that DON"T KNOW HOW TO DO IT RIGHT! The skin should be numbed first with a lidocaine spray and then a super thin baby needle with tiny injections to the site before giving the bigger injection. ( a technique that a proper podiatrist will use when removing a deep ingrown - You don't just shove a needle into a toe!) This is something that makes a doctor GREAT at what they do. But back to the injection....When that stuff goes into the vulva..you will want to kick them in the head! SECOND. you will have to wear an ice pack between your legs for TWO DAYS..and it still hurts days after...so FORGET IT..and most likely it will come back negative! And definitely say to them "I want to be tested for GARDNERELLA and STREPTOCOCCUS!" Or go see my new fantastic doctor in NYC. Email me here I will send you his information. He is the good kind..(The one that doesn't deal with insurance companies and has strict rules in his office and for his staff to never reveal any information to anyone on the phone since Insurance companies now drop you if you have a condition) AND for what you pay in two visits with him would be 2-3 months of payments to INSURANCE Companies. SCREW THESE INSURANCE COMPANIES..they are for profit ONLY. They do not care about you or if you die. We should all start finding doctors that do not use insurance companies. Have insurance for emergency visits only. GO! Last edited by blewvelvet; 21st August 2009 at 01:23 AM. Reason: added doctor info and punctuation |
