Question

I just need to know if I can safely take kalimuriaticum 6x while I am pregnant (20 weeks)
at 3x/day 4tablets at a time. My ears are blocked up at this stage of my cold that has been lingering for 2weeks. I haven't taken anything so far.
Thankyou BA

Sure, no problem! As long as the remedies have a positive effect on you, they'll be positive for the baby.

Thanks Snoopy!
I took the kali muri yesterday and this morning's dose. Nothing yet but I'm patient and I'm sure by the weekend something will change. Thanks for the reply. Have a lovely day.

Hi BA,

Have to say--as soon as you have any kind of reaction, STOP TAKING THE TISSUE SALTS!!! They'll continue to have an effect, and any more doses will only get in the way of that effect.

Can't say it loudly enough. I've seen very dramatic results take place with some patients using the salts, so be aware that they can sneak up on you!

FYI, Ricky once posted a tissue salt use in pregnancy regimen, which was geared to providing the mother and baby with all the pertinent necessary nutrients at the right time during the gestation. Maybe she'll post it again!

Talking

Hi there.
Just wanted to say that it's been 4days now that I've taken the kalimuri and so far I'm still blocked up. I will continue the 7day recommended dose, but I was going to get my ears candled tonight, is this a good idea to help me along? Something has got to relieve this "just got off an airplane and can't equalize" feeling. Hope you're having a lovely weekend all. Take care and best wishes.

Please read the article on the following link:
author is Gaby Rottler

http://www.curantur.de/English/Artic...epetition.html

It's about repetition of a remedy. Some say it is not harmful in the least and carries NO risks.
Others say otherwise (I'm in the latter category).

Best wishes,
Lisa

Lisa - as far as I am concerned repeated a dose is fine in an ACUTE situation which this is. It is not OK with a constitutional prescription.

Is the Kali Mur 6x a tissue salt or a homeopathic potency (No I really don't want to have to go into the difference again - find the thread on the archives!!) If is is the tissue salt I would try a couple of doses of Kali Mur 30C.

I realise this is an ACUTE situation.

But she has had no joy with the current remedy thus far.

And, she is pregnant.

And, she asked a question:
"Any side effects while pregnant?"

Well, yes, there can be. My point was: remedies are not always harmless; what heals can also harm - in answer to her question.

1. How was the original prescription of Kali Mur arrived at? It seems to me a wrong remedy because nothing has altered. If Kali Mur is continued there could be problems from proving.

2. Lisa is absoultely correct according to Chronic Diseases p126:

"The only allowable exception for an immediate repetition of the same medicine is when the dose of a well-selected and in every way suitable and beneficial remedy has made some beginning toward an improvement, but its action ceases too quickly, its power is too soon exhausted, and the cure does not proceed any further."

If you read on there is more of relevance to this in the CD at that point.
And it clearly shows that this type of dosing is inadvisable.

Cool

Hi everyone,
Didn't get back sooner, things still aren't good. I took the kalimuri 6x (Dr Reckeweg schuessler salt) for the week duration and no relief. After waiting a week for any improvement, I'm finally going to my family dr. I still can't hear very well at all so I have to get some relief somehow, I hear they have antibiotics that are safe to take while pregnant? Who knows, I need to have this fixed up, I have such a fine sence of hearing, this is really annoying for me.

I've had to deal with another dilema that we're going through at the moment and that is my 2 1/2 yr old son's febrile seizures. He had two, an hour apart last Monday, he always then ends up being sick with something of sorts(cold/flu/etc.) They are always associated with a fever. We have him on an anticonvulsant at the moment. His history is that of lengthy seizures which started at 11months old, up to 27min. in duration, and now atleast they only last approx. 3min. He's had 31 seizures since June 2000. He's had 4in Feb. all related to an individual ilness(RSV) and 2 in Jan. ended up with a cold and again all fever related. We can't seem to keep the fever down long enough and he spikes again before he is allowed to have any more tylenol. He hadn't had any since March of 2001 (although we did spend our Canadian winter in Australia that year) He started the anti-convulsant in January of 2001. Perhaps I should post this under FEBRILE SEIZURES> as well?
Any input is much appreciated once again. Thankyou in advance.
