Ok I'm a distraut mother today. My 9 year old son has a permanent tooth where the gum line is receding bigtime. I took him to the dentist today and a referral was made to a peridontist for a graft consultation. Apparently he has a small mouth for the size of his teeth. He's already had oral surgery to remove teeth, now he has a spacer on his upper mouth and braces already and now this. I made an appointment to see a homeopathic physician but we won't be able to get in til after the consultation. My question is ...can homeopathy help here...will a constitutional remedy help or am I wasting my time? It looks like he has more oral surgery in his future too. This just breaks my heart. Has any other moms out there been through this?

Dessie, I don't think the gum can grow back however good the treatment, or young the patient.
On the other hand, with good homoeopathic treatment the disease can be arrested. Recession of the gums is a classic symptom of psora - so make sure your homoepath knows what to do about psora according to Hahnemann's Chronic Diseases. |

I haven't seen you around for awhile - hope you are well.
I can totally sympathize with you, my daughter has "bad teeth" too. Did you ever get ahold of a homeopathic dentist? There are a couple in Illinois. Constitutional treatment will definately help to make his mouth healthy for the future. barb

Hi Barb.
I haven't been around for awhile for sure. I'm doing fine. My dad though is terminally ill and I'm probably not handling things like this tooth episode as easily as I normally would. I haven't gotten settled with a homeopathic dentist yet. Still trying to find one that's in our insurance group.

Receding Gums is definitive symptom of Syphilitic Miasm.
Please go and see what your homoeopath says about it, But Please do not mention these things beforehand. Listen what he has to say. If you do not get any joy then Please post the whole case on this BB.

Dessie, I got some cheering news from my teacher who has seen eroded gums come back over 1-2 years with accurate homoeopathic treatment.
So if you find a good homoeopath perhaps the graft will not be necessary. All the best, Anna |
