Dear Lisamaree,

An individual proton, or electron, or neutron does not amount to much if viewed in isolation. However when combined in a particular sequence these energies form the structure of atoms and are the building blocks of life.

A highly diluted substance viewed in isolation does not appear to have much significance in itself. However when administered according to the Law of Similars, this Proven Remedy, in the Minimum Dose, following the Direction of Cure, becomes a formidable curative agent in the treatment of diseases.

Your husband can't see the forest for the trees!

Dear Lisa,

I hardly know where to begin. Everybody knows that homeopathy works, it's just that when it does, people call it by another name. When orthodox medicine uses a substance that cures by similars, they say, "Nobody knows how this works, it just does." (Asprin, for instance.)
Or they say, "This medicine has a paradoxical effect." (e.g. Ritalin for hyperactive kids:
speed for children who are speeding.)

Homeopathy is not the little white pills from the billionaire homeopathic pharmacies It's Like Cures Like. There are chefs who know that when you burn yourself in the kitchen, place the burn back over the fire. After the initial aggravation, there will be complete relief. This is homeopathy. Setting a fire to stop a forest fire is also homeopathy. Homeopathic gardeners know that if they catch the plant parasites, mash them up, put them in water and spray them back onto the plants, they won't need to use chemical sprays on their garden.

Moreover, you can make your own homeopathic remedies whenever you need them. Tobacco is a great remedy for sea sickness, so if you're on a cruise, ask somebody who smokes to blow some smoke into a glass of water; stir it up, pour 90% of it out, add more water, stir, pour 90% of it out, add more water, stir, and so on, and take a sip, and you've made homeopathic tobacco, and it should work to end the sea sickness.

The alcoholic who needs a small sip of liquor the next morning to stop the hang-over is using homeopathy.

When we can stop a quarrel by using a person's own words to show that we've heard what they've said, we're using homeopathy. The alternative is to use opposing force, and force never solved anything. Violence begets violence, as they say.

The fact that there are no molecules of the original substance left in a 12C homeopathic remedy? When you think of the deadly poisons we use--arsenic, rattle snake venom, etc., do you really want any of this stuff in your body? Is anybody really going to complain, "Hey! There's hardly any snake venom left in this medicine!!! What a joke! You ask for snake venom, and what do you get? Nothing!" And you can't say we're frauds, cuz we admit it! "There's no snake venom in here, sorry."

If the remedies are all placebos, how I wish it were true sometimes. No one would ever get an aggravation and there would be no complaints and no worries.
