No side effects, but there can be a chance of "proving" the remedy--producing an aggravation or developing some of the symptoms produced by the substance.

Proving symptoms are not permanent. The tissue salt preparation Snoopy recommended is a very low potency that acts a little more like a nutritional supplement (except that it has curative power), so it can be repeated with little risk of creating proving symptoms.

Also, if your homeopath takes a full case and then finds that Calc Phos in a higher potency would be a good remedy for your son, you can stop giving the salts and just adjust the potency as the homeopath sees fit.

Dear Rachelle,

Since all homeopathic remedies are in Latin, the actual name of the remedy is:

Calcarea Phosphorica 6X. It's known as one of the 12 "tissue salts" or "cell salts", if you have to ask for it at your health food store.

Sincerely,
Snoopy

Snoopy, Thanks for clearing that up. I am new to alternative treatments. I have always believed there had to be something more natural to use for ailments instead of or in addition to money making medications. I just never had to investigate before. What is up with all of these autoimmune disorders? I have heard everything from pollution to vaccinations. My guess is probably both and more, like eating habits etc. I have endometriosis and fibromyalgia. I have been taking a vitamin supplement and birth control therapy which seems to help, any other treatments for these conditions? I also have anxiety/panic disorder. Any info more than welcome.

Divina,
Another very commoncondition that produces 'growing pain'very commonly is rheumatic arthritis.the children complaints leg pain during night and want to rub it.The parents will mistaken as it is due to exertion or playing of day time.In most case by checking blood(ESR,ASO etc)you can find the cause.Allopaths starts the penicillin for 5 years and then for prolonged time to check it from affecting heart(rheumatic heart). We can treat it with better result and the ASO etc will come to normal with in3 to 4 months. This is a very common complaints and more than hundreds of cases I treated successfully with our medicine.
with regards,
pannakkal

Hi. My son has had extensive blood work three times and nothing showed up. He is very active and does not have pain. His muscles will stiffen if we do not regularly do the stretching therapy. He will also lose muscle. The x-rays definately show deterioration of the ball of the femur. Thanks for responding with info. Any info is more than welcome!

Hi Dr. Pannakal,

Yes--the pathology you describe can be quite common in little children. Thank you for going further into depth with information of the diseases which ought to be ruled out when these symptoms present. You are quite right that many people simply dismiss these pains in children as "too much play" or minor ailments which will "pass".

I'm finding calc phos to be quite a useful remedy for the children in my family--neice and nephew have both manifested different symptoms of the remedy--the little boy had the bone pains in the legs, and the little girl already has the calc phos appearance and slow dentition. A lively, noisy, boisterous remedy for sure!

A newly named disease. What's new about that from those morons and mass murderers? The names of the diseases are meaningless because nobody in the entire world since the beginning of God has ever or will ever have one of those mindless disease categories since they're pure abstractions of reality for books that don't accurately describe any actual case of suffering. Those only attend to the common symptoms, i.e., to those common to large numbers of people; however, everyone since the beginning of God has had a few uncommon symptoms that singularly lead to an unambiguous remedy selection, which is how you cure. All allopaths have foot-and-mouth disease with their heads stuck up their butts and would be executed if we were even slightly civilized since they're all mass murderers. How many people has your doctor killed? and why are you foolish enough to have a mass murderer for a physician? Kind of a mieutic question, for it will get you killed and your child murderered to stay with such quacks.

There aren't any remedies "for this disease." What is his actual disease? What are his symptoms. Don't post them. Send me an email.
