China is a good remedy for the fevers with periodicity.

I would give it a try, if it can be located. Clearly, the periodicity of the fever needs to be considered in the case--not just the fever itself.

The homeopath should be consulted first--obviously--but since she's out of reach for the weekend, I would try to reach her first thing in the morning, if possible, and inform her of the dose of China you've given in the meantime. The recurrent fevers are more like malaria than they are simple inflammations...and your homeopath needs to consider that in her remedy selection.

If china doesn't help in several hours use Sulphur 30 one dose. Then follow later with Tub cm and if it isn't available in cm use 1M.
