Do you mean uric acid crystals? Pain from gout?
If that's what you mean, eating cherries daily will break up the crystals. Also, if you want to try Urtica Urens 6C three times a day, also known to treat gout pain in the wrists. Try the cherries first.

The diagnosis has thrown me for a loop. Maybe someone else has heard of it. Can you tell us what your symptoms are?

Symtoms: In nearly all joints, but most in hand wrist and knees. Pain, sometime heat, sometime a little red, sometime swollen.
Momement/work worse. In cold and/or windy weather worse. In warm weather and rest better. Then pain, putting wrist in very warm water, pain go away.
Acetylsalicylic acid does not help.

How is the pain affected by applying pressure?

When you say pain is worse from motion, do you mean "first motion"? Is there ever a sense that once you limber up, after you get going, there's an improvement?

How did this all start? Any cause? What was happening in your life during the year that this began?

Applying pressure does not make it better.
The pain, espcially in knees, can go on around the clock. Generally it never starts under rest(nights) but after some work, and that must not be hard work. It can be just some movement that is repeted.
It never get better after more movements, only rest helps.
It started about six years ago. No special cause.
I canīt remember that anything special happend during that time.

Dear Boster,
You have a condition called "Chodrocalcinosis" or Pseudo Gout, or CPDD Deposition Disease. Most liekey you have some Osteoarthritis too.

What is your age? IT is more common in the older agegroup. Do you have any thyroid problems or diabetes?

I think Homoeopathy has a lot to offer you, but it would be necessary for you to be prescribed a constitutional similimum, which isbased on a detailed history. You will also require a lot of perseverance and longterm management.

The acute remedies may just reduce your pain for a short time.

All the best,
doctorleela

Dr. Leela,

If she has pseudo gout, is it appropriate to look at gout remedies? I couldn't confirm either Rhus tox or Bryonia here. Where would you go from here?

Dear Boster,

Can you describe the pain? For instance is it a sharp pain or shooting pain, does it extend to a certain place, is it a sore pain, a stiff sensation, tearing pain, burning pain, a cold sensation, etc.?

When we say what happened when all this started, sometimes people think we mean an injury; actually, it could be as simple as a rash that you put a prescription cream on. It might have been an infection that you took antibiotics for.

Maybe you can tell us what you like to eat and drink.

Tell us about your mental state--what stands out about it? Tell us about your nature. Do you have any fears?

When you are having an emotional problem which is bothering you, what do you do?

When your family member was last sick, what did you do?

Describe your energy, for instance, always busy?
Sluggish? Restless? Dreamy? etc.

What are you sensitive to? What gets on your nerves?

What do you worry about?

What holds you back from moving forward with your plans or reaching your goals?

I'll stop there.
