Wow, Thanks Ricky Very much appreciated. Could you please provide the source of your information? And where I could obtain the remedy made from the milk of the mare you have described?
Thanks

Lac Equinum
Thus, we must understand that the life of a Lac
Equinum patient is a hard as that of the typical, domesticated
horse. . .If the opportunity ever arises to obtain wild mare's
milk, we could compare the natural state of this magnificant
animal to the domesticated and unhappy state revealed in this
proving. They have a great desire to please and to
bond with those who are their masters. Yet is seems
that, however much they try, there is never an end to
their labours or to the demands that are made on them. . .

The donor is a domestic mare
who lives mostly in a pasture or paddock, not in a stall - these conditions are
excellent for her. Her only physical problem is some minor arthritis in her
hip. Her temperament tends towards irritable; she will get annoyed if fussed
over. She dislikes the saddle and will grind her teeth when ridden. She loves
to eat and she is a very protective mother and a good disciplinarian with her
young.

Hi Carol,

from Complete Rep:

ANXIETY, health, about: acet-ac, acon, adam, aeth, agar, agn, aloe, alum, alum-p, alum-sil, am-c, androc, ant-t, arg, arg-n, arn, ars, ars-h, aur-m, bar-c, bell, blatta, bor, bov, brom, bry, bufo, calad, calc, calc-ar, calc-f, calc-p, calc-s, calc-sil, cand-a, cann-i, canth, carb-v, carc, caust, chin-ar, choc, cocc, cop, corv-c, cub, cupr, euph, germ, glon, grat, hep, hyos, ign, KALI-AR, kali-br, kali-c, kali-m, kali-p, kali-sil, kros, lac-c, lac-eq, lach, lob, lyc, m-arct, mag-m, med, merc, morg, nat-c, nat-m, nat-p, NIT-AC, nux-m, nux-v, ozone, parth, ph-ac, PHEL, phos, podo, psor, puls,, ruta, sel, sep, sil, spong, staph, sulph.

Cross reference these with:
*hypochondriacal
*Brooding; condition, illness, over one's
*Delusion, imaginations; sick; he is
*Despair; health, of
*Despair, hyphochondriasis, in,
*Despair, recovery, of
*Fear, General; Disease, of; impending
*Thoughts, Disease, of

and then rubrics become more specific:

carfeul about health, therefore very: calad, calc

climacteric period, especially during: kali-br, sil

despair of getting well: ars

future, in regard to the: sep

etc....

As you can see, there are quite a number of remedies to choose from. Note that all the poison substances produce this symptom--and then consider just how many poisons--and poison compounds--exist in the homeopathic pharmacopia.
The rubric may be useful, and the symptom may be important, if it is very pronounced in the case.

Well, here are some signs she has NOW.

Wispers or talks softly to herself at night(frequently repeats a ca sound, if you know french, its like a hissing of saw many times.)

Holds one or the other hand under her head at night.

Frequently will lie on back with legs up(knees up?)

Shakes in bed after or just before she has to urinate.

Gestures into the air..as if pointing at something or reaching for something.

Appetite very good...will eat almost anything(has to be fed..though she handles sandwiches)

Is 80 years...very very strong. Can resist if she wants to.

Has bms every 5 or 6 days(used to be hard little black balls but after a few months on and off of alumina 30 c...it changed to more brownish...larger and softer.

Feet are icy...I mean through the socks you can feel it, icy cold and up the ankle a little. Rubbing them doesn't seem to help. In bed at night...they warm up a lot. But as day goes on...they freeze up.

She loves almost all music and will tap or move her feet or orchestrate with her head.

She is blind from glaucoma in one eye..the other eye had some sight but after cataract surgery..could only tell dark from light.

She hates the wind .

MOstly she sits...but if she starts moving around...she will find an object..piece of furniture and will start pushing on it. When she could see better...she would actually move the couch and chairs to different positions.

Very responsive to affection. If I tell her I love her she will act coy and pleased and smile. If I ask her to give me a kiss..she will kiss me...but I have to be very close to her face.

She is very very gentle, has a very gentle healing touch.

Earlier in her disease she would dance...and go on and on and on if she could...and she would sing. she can sing and carry a tune today.

She always has more energy in evening and in middle of the night. If there is genuine laughter around her she will join in...a laugh that says she is really enjoying something.

She loves to walk...I put her on treadmill.

She was always pretty cold...but now that she lives with me I keep the heat on high. But she doesn't or didn't like intense heat outside either. Soometimes when she sits she puts her head almost down to her knees. She will also gesture when she is sitting, pointing outward and then down to the floor.

I suppose this isn't a lot to go on. She was on calc carb off and on for many years before she got this.

I try things on her at 30c . She has to have a check up for day care once a year and her homeopathic doctor says she has a strong heart and she will live a long time. But he is very far away and he doesn't have much hope for changing anything with the alz and thinks she will always be calc carb.

She had tarentula on recommendation of another homeopath...and that reduced her original hallucinations that there were people around her. And when she had pneumonia a few years ago..the calc carb did nothing but afte one dose of tarentual..200c...in the hospital..she said..."when are we going"..her first words since the pneumonia.

When she starts to get a cold...I give her aconite, sulpher or nat mur and these seems to keep the cold in check...and always stimulate her bowels to move.

After some remedies she will say things in a complete sentence...like What time is it..Otherwise she pretty much cannot speak with the right words for anything tho she acts sometimes like she is saying something.

She gets bunions on her feet sometimes...and one came on side of foot after a dose of thuya 30c. She had arthritus in fingers but after she got alz...about 7 years ago...that seemed to stop. But lately her thumbs seem to be less connected to her hand..some arthritus there..maybe.

I'm not asking for a miracle...but then, of course, I am.

Bless.

When I read about your Mother, Carol..I just sat here thinking how loving your post was.

I wish more people took care of their elderly parents the way you seem to be caring so lovingly for you Mother.

I wish you the best in finding a remedy which will help her to be more lucid!!

Warmest wishes,
Lisa

Thank you, Lisa.

My mother used to live with my son. I used to worry about her all the time...whether she was eating right, whether she was warm, whether she was alone too long. This is better for me this way. And because I work out of my home I'm able to do it.

If you are coping with a loved one at home with Alzheimers I admire you. My mother in law still lives on her own but for how long...... My husband does not want her living with us!! I think it is kinder to have her looked after in her own home than be put in a residential unit. At the moment we have someone that goes in for 1/2 hout every day but she really needs someone to cook her a meal.It is interesting that she doesn't seem to feel full up and is shopping and buying sweet biscuits and cake rather than proper food. She is bored and lonely and says that no one comes to see her but that is because she forgets when someone has been round. I am going to attempt to get her into a day centre to occupy her during the day. I find it difficult to give her a remedy because she can't express how she is feeling a lot of the time. On another thread I explained that when she started accusing my husband, her son of taking her money - she actually said that she was in the bank with him and that they gave him £6000 of her money. She accused him and hher daughter who lives a long way away of other things as well but after I gave her a Crot H this all stopped. At the moment it is the obstinate stage as she refuses to be told she is doing something wrong so it is kinder to ignore it . We have to check that she is putting perishable food in the frige and things that she buys like ice cream in the freezer rather than in a cupboard!!

I think that the rubric you are looking for is Fera of insanity. In the Complete there are 75 remedies soI willleave you with this one.

Boehenhousen - Mind
INSANITY FEAR OF: (10)
3 ALUM, 1 ambr, 1 arg-n, 2 calc, 3 CIMIC, 1 graph, 1 lac-c, 1 lil-t, 1 nat-m, 1 stram
