Thank you everyone. I am still here and finally on the other side of crazy. I've passed the really horrible itchy stage and am now just healing all of the scabs. So although I look like Frankenstein's bride, I am feeling much better.

I have to say, that not a single remedy helped alleviate the terrible itch. I must just be something that needs to be endured. Once that stage is over, it is pretty tolerable. I am now just keeping my immune system strong in order to recover and not catch any secondary stuff.

This is the problem with rote prescribing of remedies for a named disease - it often doesn't work, and results in disappointed patients who may feel homoeopathy does not work in these situations. A more full case noting the peculiar symptoms NOT relating to chickenpox would have stood a better chance.

Also remember, that chickenpox is a perfectly natural process that helps to mature your immune system, and promotes the growth of the intellectual capabilities in children - treating it may not always be desirable.
