Difficult to explain to you what's happenning unless we know why you saw a homoeopath in the first place. Also you wouldn't know what was given to you is it?

I don't think you need to worry about a reaction to the medicine you have taken, as once you stop it, the symptoms will disappear over a period of time, ie if they are because of the medicine.

If you would like a remedy, you'll have to post a detailed case here, or see another homoeopath in a town close by.

Warm regards,
doctorleela

PS: Feel free to email me if you need to ask anything.

i went to see a homeopath for a couple reasons
- persistant canker sores
- the beginnings of an ulcer
- abnormally cold extremities
- concern of family problems with the thyroid

i was given whole brain? (i think that was the name) and put on a primarily vegetarian diet (turkey eggs some cheeses and fishes)

i finished the supply of whole brain in the middle of november...

I'm not sure i recognise the name of the remedy. But you could wait this out and find out if the sneezing persists or is passing off. Then you may decide on the next step!

All the best,

Dear Naura,

I don't recognize the remedy, but, do you feel any better since taking it? Do you feel that the remedy continues to work? What changes have taken place since the remedy?

How debilitating is this sneeze? Other than the sneezing, do you have other symptoms that are a problem to you? How have you changed emotionally?

What brings the sneeze on? What do you have to do to get it to stop?

Snoopy

the issues i came into the doctor will are gone, or lessened considerably. (i was dealing with 4 or 5 canker sores for two weeks out of every month, i have had 4 total since october)

aside from my diet change nothing has realy changed in my life/schedule. the sneeze however is pretty bad- it is worse in the morning (until about 11 am), lessens in the afternoon and gets worse for a couple of hours at night. my nose tickles most of the time- i probably sneeze anywhere from 10 to 30 times an hour during the worst part, and i probably don't go for more than two hours without sneezing.

i dealt with a pretty stressful semester, and in the next seven months i am graduating, moving, and getting married- but i don't notice an increase of sneezing when i get stressed out (it seems like i don't sneeze at all when i am extremely busy)

that is all of the factors that i can think of...

Question

Was the remedy Helleborus, do you think? It is the closest sounding to "whole brain" to me.

I doubt Naura has been told the name of the remedy at all! Also its very difficult to understand the method that a homoeopath uses. Not always classical.

Anyway. over time, one can tell.
Warm regards

Dear Naura,
It seems to me that you have been given a supplement rather than a homeopathic remedy. I don't usually prescribe on this board, being only a student of homeopathy, but perhaps somebody else can help you with the sneezing. It looks more like an allergic reaction perhaps to an ingredient in the supplement or to something new in your diet ? Are you still taking the supplement ?
Claudia
