Dear Lyn,

30X twice a day is a good idea. Please put the remedy in a small spring water bottle and succuss 10 times before each use and the case will move a lot faster. Succuss means pound the bottle into your opposite palm. Stop the remedy if he gets worse.

Keep in touch and let us know how he's doing.

P.S. It's hard to distinguish Veratrum alb. from Stramonium, so if Stram. doesn't work, consider Veratrum alb.

Hello, I keep thinking of more. i find this difficult. One of the problems in a way is that i am quite strict with him so his behaviors are limited. In a sense he is quite disciplined. Things that are strange-if really happy, but shy or scared at the same time,he covers his face and whimpers or crys in a fake way.I call it overload.it happens a lot.like going some where and seeing a train(his favorite)he is happy then crys then smiles then screams.when really happy he usually asks to [play,go outside or repeats favorite videos or book, excerpts that is)He loves orange juice.I rotate milks( all kinds cow, almond, rice)I gave him a supplement called dmg and found him less tantrum proned and better in speech-just a bit though.he is very nice to people he knows.does throw things if yelled at,basically whatever he sees first.listens when I say no.but doesn't really talk.only baby words. If you show him flash cards he knows all the words,alphabet,colors,numbers...won't answer things-do you like this? won't ever say yes to anything, ignores my questions most of the time and hums in a spooky way to me sometimes in a pacing manner.seems to have most fear about things he loves-places, some people, some fun games, some animals.

What do you mean: Hums in a pacing way?

If you can write more about him, feel free.

If he is bored or nervous he will pace the house or walk in circles(knowingly..why i know that is he will say walking in circles, walking in circles>sometimes I will say walk in squares and he laughs. He hums like aaaahhhhhhheeeeehhhhhhhieeeiieeeieeeiiiigoing from low to high pitch while he is in this trance like state. he willsnap out of it if you ask him to immediately.I say stop or i remind him of it. He then goes on to something else usually something positive like a toy or drinks. He likes to hide his face from people he doesn't know or like.He has fears definite I just don't really understand them.He is definetly a leader and popular kid amoung friends. He seems with it except for the speech and sometimes pacing and sometimes "fear tantrums".

Dear Lyn,

I looked up Walks in a Circle in the repertory and 4 remedies came up, one of which was Stramonium (2); the other "2" was Thuja, the rest were 1's, so I'm feeling very comfortable with recommending Stramonium at this point.

Question

thanks snoopy for all the thought,
I will try stram. on him as soon as I can get it. Today he had a strong screaming fit accompanied by hiding his face when we went into a friends house. I had ordered before I found this web site two combo formuls from energique. One for metal detox and one for adhd symtoms. The latter one had stram.30 in it. They will be arriving soon. I was desperate and they sounded good. I will try stram.30 first though. Thank you.

You're welcome. Try putting the remedy in water, Hahnemann preferred this method. Let us know what happens!

Thought I'd bring this up to the top so the others could see it.

also wanted to say that I agree with Kescah in that crawling is important in speech development. There is a technique called the cross crawl that can be done to even out brain patterns - I'll try to find the instructions on how to do it. A chiropractor friend encourages this technique for toddlers/babies who have passed crawling and went straight to walking.

Having said that - age three was VERY difficult for us too. Most of my friends with young children would agree that this age is filled with lots of nasty phases and such. I can't tell you how many times I thought something was really wrong with my daughter or that I must've been the worst parent ever - Many of the things you mentioned in your post are similar to my daughters problems at that age and many of the things she grew out of. - She even has two fused teeth too.

hope this is useful

HOW TO ORGANIZE YOUR COORDINATION

Electrical impulses pass between the two hemispheres of the brain. They must get back and forth to coordinate body functions. When this energy becomes blocked, the female and the male are not flowing in sequence together. When this energy is connected and equally balanced within each individual, we will have equality between the sexes.

The reflex observed in action while walking is not always totally functional. Inadequate development is associated with poor crawling techniques or experiences during infancy. The nervous organization to coordinate the balanced walking movement is a learned behavior pattern related with cerebral connections that affect other fields of activity, such as language, reading, hand-to- eye coordination. It even affects the perception and conceptualization of sidedness. The perception of sidedness is required to tell mirror images apart, such as,the "b" from the "d" in the alphabet, and this ability is dependent upon the strength of your cross-crawl integration. It is also very important in education and communication.

In today's high tech world, dyslexia (seeing or saying words backwards) is a common problem, especially for children. The ability to read is essential, but the person with dyslexia sees things backwards and cannot read. One literally cannot tell right from left.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Cross-crawl dysfunction is associated with the following:

Learning disabilities
Lack of coordination
Inability or difficult to read
No concept of balance
Clumsiness
Stuttering
Seeing or saying words backwards
Dropping objects
Tripping a lot

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

CORRECTION: The correcting procedure is an education program to improve nervous system organization. The exercise causes the brain to send the signal down the correct channel to reorganize and repattern the energy of the brain by activity. It affords the opportunity to go back to the crawling stage to lock in the correct pattern of energy in the brain. The more a person needs cross-crawl, the more difficult it will be to perform.

1. This brain-eye exercise can most easily be done in a supine position. Put both legs straight and place both arms down at the sides. This technique may also be done standing or sitting.

2. Raise and elevate the right arm above the head, at the same time raise the opposite leg, bending the knee.

3. Repattern by turning the head towards the raised right arm. Then straighten the head as the arm and left leg come down.

4. Repeat procedure with left arm & opposite right leg, turning head towards the raised left arm.

5. Breathe in as the arm and leg raise, exhale as the arm and leg come down. Do in series of l2 right and 12 left for a total of 24 movements. Visualize marching.

Walking, even in place is a good way to understand the reflex and to tone it. When you identify with any of these associated conditions it is suggested that the repatterning procedure be repeated 50 to 100 times daily. This is a perfect opportunity to practice discipline.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What to expect when the cross-crawl is balanced:

Improved learning and reading abilities

Better coordination

More confidence

More balance in your life

LYN - I am curious and you may have answered this already so I apologize if I am making you repeat yourself but when your son gets hurt does he want your comfort or does he resist and push you away?
