I was of the impression that the diet suggestions were for blood type, not dependant on negative or positive. Interesting. I hope this topic will continue. Our family is all O negative and simply wouldn't be able eat the suggested diets containing any animal products and haven't for many, many years. Would altering our blood from negative to positive (if a possibility) actually be sufficient to allow us to better use the grains and vegetables that comprise our food intake?
(Carolorr, my mother always told me that I was born with a tail that had to be removed at birth but I really thought she was just joking because I was always so involved with beings that DID have tails. Could she possibly have been telling the truth?!)

Dear Dr Sinha, thanks for dropping by. There is no hurry from my point of view. I might be able to obtain a photocopy of the article if you give more exact details of publication please.

The idea of changing blood types is very interesting and may be related to some research I have been doing into links between genetics and homepathy (see posting on this topic).
Does anyone have any information on what distinguishes one blood group from another and also how many different blood groups there are? Regards Nuno |

Nuno, there are the basic blood groups A B AB and most commonly O. Within all those groups a person might be Rhesus positive [most common because positive is the dominant gene] or negative.
Problems arise when a R- mother carries a R+ foetus. The mother's blood develops antibodies which lyse the red blood cells of the infant's blood. From a homoeopathic perspective it is not surprising that Crotalus Horridus should help ameliorate this condition, because it is a snake venom which is associated with lysing of blood cells. What would be surprising is if the remedy is shown to treat this situation by altering the rhesus factor of the mother's blood, which would show a genetic alteration, rather than by a mere attenuation of the aggresiveness of the maternal antibodies. An interesting website on the rhesus factor is: http://freespace.virgin.net/angela.p...PLEEXPLANATION |

Nope. But is did remove a number of other symptoms which were far more serious. Generally, I have normal blood pressure, it dips when I am ill. I don't worry about any of the above (wearing sunglasses, working nights and turning off electrical goods when not in use deal with those issues), but like Claudia and Lisa I found it odd that they were listed as part of the symptomology for Rh- when in fact I am Rh+.
