Has anyone ever had a remedy and they can "sense" their usual symptoms...but they aren't painful or otherwise taking the driving seat..but just in the background. Not all the time...but one or two of them enough to think...is this a surpression in a classical sense of the word surpression...still there but underneath OR has anyone experienced this on there way to being permanently cured of something.

Carol,
Difficult to know what "problems" your refering to.
BUt if a remedy is well chosen, and the potency a little high - there is an aggravation (emotional as well as physical) - which can most certainly be "sensed". If followed by ammelioration of those symptoms it should lead to "cure" in the long term.

Is this what you mean?

if there is a correct prescription thne there is often aggravation . If there is supression then the symtoms go away - but shortly after the patient feels vaguely worse and complains !!

I've experienced this with a return of old SXs. the SX is there, but I don't feel sick or upset about it.

Cure usually takes time, so yes, it is likely that your symptoms would be reduced and still able to be 'sensed' for awhile. Cure can be a long process - months or sometimes even years.

I've had patients undergo an amelioration with their remedies, yet still "put up with" their lingering physical symptoms, which can even become worse than before the remedy was given.

Thing is, the amelioration is overall, so even the intensified physicals are more easily tolerated...they seem to be less of a problem even though they may actually be more pronounced.

It's like the patient can bear them far more easily. They don't usually last though, and I think of their intensification as a hopeful sign if its accompanied with an improvement on the mental/emotional level. That seems to be the direction of cure.

If there is an actual suppression going on, the result for the patient is very different from the kind described above. Patients feel much worse, even if they don't suffer the physicals so much, or if they're gone all together. Plus, other weird symptoms make an appearance and I find myself always wishing I could bring back the original trouble, which usually seems like a better trade off!
