Was constitutionally prescribed a remedy, which was taken with good result. No longer seemed effective after 4 months or so, so was prescribed a second remedy. Took this in 1M potency with good result. About 4 days later, had an increase in symptoms for which the remedy was prescribed. About 3 days after that, a return (brief) of old symptoms for which the initial remedy was prescribed. What does this mean? I am over both increased symptomology, but wondered if this means we are on the right/wrong track. Thanks.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! Have been reduced to 12c, as aggravations noted with 1M and with an increase to 10M. Still agree??? -Vic

Gary, Thanks. Do you mean I should wait 4 months to increase the dose? I have taken 12c three concurrent days, as I am waiting to note a change in behavior.Second question, do I then bypass 1M and go to 5M? What about higher c doses? As always, I only take the next dose when I feel I need to. Thanks.

NOPE YOU DON'T HAVE TO WAIT 4MONTHS, MY POINT IS SOME TIME OUR BODY CHANGES IN 4MONTHS. IF YOUR' TAKING 12C, GO TO 30C THEN GOT 200C, THEN GOT 1M THEN 5M, 10M, 12C IS GOOD, IF IT STOPS'S WORING THEN GO TO HIGHER DOSE, YOU CAN TAKE 12C 2 TO 3 TIMES A DAY. IT'S BEST TO KEEP ON TAKING REMEDY AT LEAST WEEK OR TW0, UNTIL YOU HAVE NO MORE symptoms OR UNTIL YOU'R 90% BETTER THEN LET YOUR BODY HEAL IT SELF. CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT REMEDY ARE YOU TAKING? ONE DOSE OF 1M REMEDY IS GOOD FOR 7-10DAYS.

I would rarely give a patient more than one dose of a remedy at one particular potency especially over 30C. If you continue to take the remedy for a week at a time you can start proving it. This ofcause is the Classical view. Maybe Gary is of the Eisayaga school of thought.

Why are you dosing yourself rather than going back to your homeopath for advice who obviously got it right the first time?

Thanks for the clarification, Gary. The remedy is tarentula.

I am not dosing myself, Ricky, but following the advice of my homepath. I just like to get other's perspectives. As you can see, even you and Gary differ greatly.

I am only asking for input, as we have returned to this remedy after trying another without success. The return was prompted by a good review of my medical file (finally) and a look at how my case has progressed over time. Because of this delay, my faith in my homeopath. has been shaken, thus prompting my inquiries.

At the moment, I am much more emotionally labile, although calmer, and exhibiting minor cold symptoms, which cleared within a few hours. I have stopped taking the 12c after yesterday, the third day, as I view these developments as changes to be acknowledged. Am I right? Thanks to you both for your help.

You are probably right, but do what your homeopath advises. A 12C potency is quite safe to take for a couple of weeks as it is a low potency.
