Can anyone suggest a remedy for my Mum, who has developed a red, burning, itchy rash on her face.
It started with a small spot on her cheek and spread within a matter of days to cover both cheeks and a small patch on one brow. The rash is bumpy and mottled and there are also weeping pustules.
It is worsened by heat (even standing close to a lightbulb can aggravate it) and is worse in the evening/ during the night.
Her doctor doesn't know what it is and prescribed penicillin but it sounds like rosacea from what we've read.

My Mum is 78 years old, her health is good and she isn't on any meds. She has occasional angina attacks brought on by emotional stress rather than exertion.
She has a pale complexion which is prone to blushing and she doesn't like hot weather.
She is a modest, retiring, and kind person but very stubborn. She has always had very low self-esteem, particularly about her appearance, and the rash makes her feel 'repulsive'.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

It would be best if your mum saw a professional classical homeopath and there are lots in London. Check your Yellow pages for the Society of Homeopaths box.
It is possible that Rhus Tox may help but so could a lot of others!!!
