Glad you are posting this inquiry!!

I would be interested in hearing how ALL the various readers of this message board use the potencies. Because your thread here is quite specific, in regard to your specific studies, maybe a new thread can be posted in "Survey" format, for example, title: "Survey, can everyone post favorite method of using potencies". There seems always to be so much to learn on this subject!!

There really is lots of variety on the topic of potencies. I think it is IDEAL/best homeopathy if all prescribers can arrive at the same simmillimum for any particular person...but the different homeopaths certainly will have a great variety on what potencies each uses and why, as well as how often each repeats giving the remedy.

Thank you again for the replies.

Yes, i agree with you - Kevin -: in my small experiences i learnt that often there is a simillimum for the potencies, too. My children react in different ways to the same potency (to don't speak about remedies: they have their own remedies for similar complains: but everybody knows this).

This is one of the reason that make me to think is better - if possible - to have the same homeopath for all life...or to try to understand by ourself which is the right individual "path".

this is very interesting. every workshop i attend, regardless of the main topic, people always want to discuss potency. sometimes i feel it is a **** shoot as to what one choses. i have heard homeopaths say that they often give what is on hand, especially if they are dealing with an acute or emergency. I have used LM's a little and found them to be profound and subtle. but there is little information easily available. personally, i feel most comfortable with a flexible approach. in my other business, i have found the ability to work with limited tools, but the more i have the better choice for success there is. so it is i think in homeopathy: the more tools, the more possibilities for success. i too would like to know more about experiences with LM's.

I recently discovered the use of 60/LM!!! I thought LM potecies were not up 30/LM..Where the 60/LM come from?
Any comment?

To Ben Rozendal: during my reading i understood my mistake, "less wasteful" means less expensive and time consuming (in the simillimum.com they write: cheaper, easier, but the same effect? Who knows?"

To Pratap:i'm still interested to know your experiences about LM's, if you still like to share them.

Thank you to all: my mind is a little bit more in peace.
