Mamma3 - Maybe the other remedy you are thinking of was Bellis Perenis which I would give after the arnica in operations where there might be a lot of soft tissue injury. I give it low at 6C for about a fortnight.

Arnika is not for pain, its for reducing risk of haemmhorrage and thrombosis. To use staph then, is not advisable before, but after, if pains.

OK now I am really in need of specifics. I am new to homeopathy, I have only been using it for about 6 months for my family. I have read several books and have seen how well it works and believe in totally. That said and refer to the post above about the technicals of surgery, remember my son is 11 months old so he does not fear the surgery. I need specific recommendations about which one to give, which dose, when. Also do you have any recommendations for an extremely worried mother of a baby 11 months old about to have surgery! As soon as he comes out of anesthesia

1. Staphisagria 200c One dose

2. Hypericum 200c one dose after 4 hours after adminstering the above

3. one more dose of hypericum 200c 8 hours after adminstering the above

4. Staphisagria 1 M 8 hours after adminstering the above

5.Hypericum 1M hours after adminstering the above

( Don't worrey about the potencies - Pain is bacically a mental symptom )


6.Ferrum Phos. 6x ( daily two tablets in the morning )

7.Mag. Phos 6x ( daily two tablets in the evining )

6. and 7. can be used for 30 days from the second day after the operation - This helps in the rebuilding of tissues

8. Arnica 6c daily one dose in the night after two days of the operation this can be used for 7 to 10 days depending on the condition of yuor son.

I have seen and treated these kind of operations as i said before - I work doing service in a hospital where they do the same kind of operations, in my town - The hospital does nearly 200 operations per month

For the mother the sugestion is
Argeticum Nitricum 200c

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You ALL! I do have only one question left, I think. The only potencies I have these remedies in is 30x. You said do not worry about the potencies. Is this OK and does this change the time table for administration?
I cannot tell you all how much this has ment to me to have all your help.

When I said "Don't worrey about the potencies" - I presumed that you might be frightened to use the drugs in high potencies on your baby as you say you have limited experience using the drugs.

Please remeber - 30x potency works on physical level and works very little on mental plane(level) - By using this potency you will not be able to help your son( or the mother )in redusing or controlling his suffering

Please try to procure the potencies specified - and stick to the time table specified

Note : while giving the drugs to your son - if your son is sleeping you need not disturb him for giving the drugs - the time table can be postoned and you can start giving the remainig drugs as soon as he gets up.
( 50% of the cure is done in sleep automatically by the body mechanism )

I use three as a dose, but unexperienced , should use five to ten each time, if agg, use less, 5> three, or water potnecing.

Regarding Hypericum and Staphisagria you can give 8 to 12 pellets. I thought you knew it as you said you were using Homeopathic drugs sinse 6 months.
