Hello,
This is my first time ever writing to anything like this, but I am tired of going thru life with so many restrictions due to my sinuses and the numerous things I am allergic to. I have gone to doctors, gotten serums shots, taken pills upon pills, CAT scan, check ups, etc. And I honesty think I am getting worse. So I can online to do research to change my health. I want to rebuild my immune system, bring back my energy and just to be able to feel good again. I have no idea what Homeopathy is and if it is dangerous or what. So I need some really good advise and pointers of where to go. Maybe I should list some things I am allergic to: grass, trees, molds, weeds, animal fur, many fragrances, cigarette smoke, dust, anything related to aspirin or ibuprofen, scented cleaning materials, many aerosals.......so as you see, I need help. So what I can find out, I would really appreciate it. Thanks. |

Wow, I did not know it was this detailed. But here goes....
What makes it worse or better? I am better in the winter, air conditioned rooms in summer. Spring and Fall are the worst. Steam is good. Cravings: I am not sure, I actually do not have any constant cravings. Aversions: Not really sure here either, I do not purposely avoid much of anything. I talked about food in my earlier posting. Mental Situations? What do you mean? Stool Habits: I go maybe once a day in the evening. Usually they are soft, watery a lot. Strong odor. I do have gas constantly, and it can be very painful gas cramps. Urination: I urine a lot like every 30 minutes, usually it is clear, no real odor. Eye color: Hazel, and I am nearsighted. Spots on nails: None, my nails are almost perfect. Birthmarks, Moles and Freckles: None When problems changed: I believe that I had the typical hay fever allergies to grass, pollens, weeds first, then recieved the serum shots and began having the sinus problems and more allergic reactions to the other things mentioned. Also, I remember when I was younger I used to take medicines with Ibuprofen or aspirin without any problems. Vaxines: None Medications: I took Sedane, then Sedane D, they worked for me. Then I tried Claritin, and that did not work. I have been taking Allegra and it seems to work, but last week I switched to Allegra D. I take only medicines made by Tylenol, Sudafed and Benadryl. Foot sweat: Normal, but I do sweat pretty heavy in the arm pits. No odors or fungus. Eruptions of skin: None I am trying my best to answer any questions you have. Thank you for being patient with me. |

Mental Situations:
I am a perfectionist. Short tempered. Low tolerance. Little patience. I have the need to be doing something at all times. I am figidty. I am very aggressive, where I am usually in leadership roles, I tend to want to control situations. I am calm during crisis, but I freak out over petty things. I am very picky with where I go (to eat or shop, etc.) I am very picky with who are my friends. I want everything materialistically and I wanted everything done yesterday. I am never satisfied, I like change. And I complain too much. Let me know if you need something more specific. |

I do NOT want to interfer with this analysis, but I am very interestd in the topic of allergies. So, may I just add some questions that may assist YOU in working towards reaching the best homeopathic remedy for you?
The info you provided in your most recent post is very useful, so you might elaborate on those topics and give specific examples of your behaviors and attitude. It is most useful for us homeopaths if you can try to tell us about the things that you find DIFFERENTIATE you from the other people you know. 1) drinking liquids...what is your habit? how much, how often, what temperature? 2)are you tidy/neat... or messy? Look at both your home and your workplace, and please explain how you keep things. For example, are you happy to let your dirty clothes fall in a heap on the floor, or do you keep everything fastidiously neat? 3)doyou hold grudges as a rule and find it difficult to forgive people who might offend you? Or, are you rather quick to "forgive and forget" and move on to the next thing? This point can be tough to answer yourself. You might try asking BOTH yourself as well as a person close to you for his or her opinion. 4)When you bathe or shower, what temperature is the water? What temperature do you keep your home in winter? In summer you say your allergies are better in air conditioning, but must you dress more warmly when in a cool air conditioned room? How do you dress? Heavy sweaters and coat? Hat? Are you usually dressed with more (or fewer) warm clothes than other people you notice? Are you very careful to be neat in your dressing and hair and grooming ALL THE TIME...or is it alright with you if your shirttail comes out, or your drop some dinner on your clothes, etc? 5)How do you eat? Please name your most favorite foods? You have given up smoking of all sorts? Do you drink alcohol? If yes, how much do you enjoy? Coffee? How often do you eat? Have you noticed that you tend to skip meals, or go a long interval between meals? 6)You say you are often in leadership roles? What if you are in a subordinate role. Are you easily able to address your boss/superior, or does this give you some concern or worry? Do you feel most comfortable dealing with your peers and those who are subordinate to you? Or can you easily challenge authority figures? Again, this is a difficult question to answer. You can try to view this topic another way, and ask yourself whether you are always taking up new and big challenges, or, opposite to that, you prefer to avoid situations where you do not know too much about it and where there is a chance you might fail. Some people tend to take on BIG challenging projects and never think about the risks of failure. Others get quite worried, and prefer to avoid situations where they are expected to perform very well in new circumstances. You can also study this situation by looking at the people you feel most comfortable hanging around with at work and at social "play". Explanation of the questions homeopaths need to ask in order to get the most complete information: You are surprised at the questions, I see!! This is normal and usual when people first try homeopathy. We homeopaths need to know your basic medical history, yes, that is true, but ALSO what is more important is your entire disposition/"personality"= the way your approach your life and the nature of your relationships to other people. Each homeopathic remedy presents a unique "picture" in this regard. We need to understand you as a person in order to match the right remedy to you. You should look at some of the others posts here on the message board, just so you will acquire a good understanding about the types of questions homeopaths need/should to ask you. I have worked on analyzing two situations here on this message board, and you might read them because they both involve extensive questions. One situation is complete= "Orka's" posts. The other= "Gail-K's son" posts and that situation is almost complete. Do NOT read them with the idea to compare yourself to them. In other words, do NOT compare yourself to these people. Rather, use these threads/posts to read the questions that are asked, and you will gain a better idea of what you must explain about yourself and your lifestyle for a thorough good homeopathic evaluation. P. S. As I said before, I don't have the time right now to do a full analysis of your situation, but I can try to assist you by adding to the list of questions for you. (I am currently working on Gail-K's son's posts, and am hoping she will provide some additional necessary info and then I can summarize the recommendations for her son, and then I can move on to someone else's situation. I have a full practice and visit here on this board for educating people about good homeopathic evaluation techniques and such.) I am VERY interested in the allergies you present, and will try to read your posts as they progress. [This message has been edited by kevin seymour (edited 08 November 1999).] |

Mr Seymor: your questions is not needed, if you Know how to repertorize, and Know Kent. If, you should be able to find three remedies, carbo v, gels, and Natrium mur.
And if aqutainted with the remedies, you find only natrium mur left. The doseage, is three pills, daytime, once, then wait, potence one M, works about a month, so keep posting, notifie about ( mail me if needed) changes, symptomes occuring, reocurrence of a old symptome shows rigth choice, that it works, but it may need to be adjusted if those reactions is too hard. Avoid salt, not completely, but at least lower it,( no mineral water) it can be the cause to your problem. And also serum, and other medication. You should be able to feel a reaction in three days. Some questions, do you like or crave garlic? Eating mutch salt food, reactions to seashore air? or salt water? Can you cry in public? ------------------ Homeopat MNNH Geir E.T. MR Seymor, i have told you before, it is not homeopathy, to try to fit a patient into the frames of your looking glasses with force, and its this you try to do, and its forbidden.
A patient shall not fit your wuews, you shall only observe, and then analyze. |
