For the last two nights, starting in the evening, usually after dinner, I have been experiencing nausea with heartburn and gassy stomache. This is definately due to the fact that i'm now at 36th week of pregnancy and baby is pushing on stomache.

The first night it was accompanied by the desire to be alone, it came on suddenly and i was having tremors or tremblingof my whole body. It was better for lying in bed(sitting up) propped up on pillows, and when i lied on my left side.

I have the constant feeling that i have to have a bowel movement and during the day i am able to evacuate a little bit each time. during the night i am able to go more and it is burning, feels like diarrhea, but is not watery, and has a strong odor.

Wakefull through the night and have been waking up very early and unable to go back to sleep. Mind wakes up so body follows.

any suggestions, arsenicum at low potency has helped symptoms , i have considered nux and lycopodium. I don't want to interfere w/ any thing else.

ANy suggestions??

It can come from sulphur. And it can be a calcium sympt. Would not advice to take anything without clarifying the last remedys you have taken. If sulph and its a old reocurring symptome, it should leave after 48 houers max, or the potence is too low, if never had before, its new, and points to another remedy, as calcium, who is likely during preg. And then antidoting of sulph is nesseceary.

GM, Thank you for responding, I think the symptoms are pointing to calc carb because last night i began experiencing leg cramps.
I believe the heartburn is mechanical, due to the baby pressingon stomache, i experienced it last pregnancy.
I'm thinking of antidoting the sulph as you suggested before to see where this will go. Do you still think i should use camphor? or nux v due to the digestive symptoms (i'm leaning towards the nux because it has helped relieve the abdominal bloating before)

The symptoms are not abating, its been about 3 days now. I only can eat during the day, and not much at a time, and have been experiencing colic pains in intestines if i eat even a little bit.

If i do the calc, which potency? i have 30c and 200c.

By the way, my best wishes go out to you

Use Nux, calc folllows well, if indicated, c30 should be sufficient, the last week of preg, use c200 pulsatilla.

GM, I did take nux at 30c pot and haven't had such a bad problem since, and my appetite is back to normal, however my legs have become cramped since then. Feels like a deficiency in calciun, perhaps due to not having much to eat( plus the obvious drain on my calc).
I am going to obtain the 200c pulsatilla hopefully in time (soon now), although the baby is already fully engaged , head down.

My question, my legs are really bothering me now, painfull(sciatic pain) esp the right leg, and the calf muscles feel like tight balls of constricted muscles most of the time. This is probably due (partilly) to where the baby is positioned in my pelvis, Would the calc carb be indicated now? I could wait if it would be better. Do nux, calc and pulsatilla all complement one another?

I wanted to mention that today, since a few hours after i woke up, all of the mental/emotional symptoms are back. This is my weekend, the only day i have nothing scheduled, and usually the day i feel at my worst because i feel as though i SHOULD be taking care of things , but am resentfull that on the day i could be resting i have so much to do. Also very resentfull of anyone who asks me to "schedule " anything w/ them (even if it is lunch or something pleasant)

INDECISIVENESS, feel as if i will never make any progress in all of the tasks before me- therefore am unable to even function.
tHE self pitying and suicidal feelings are back, though i would never consciously act on them, i do find myself wishing for an accident so that i could get a break.

The leg still aches and i feel that i'm spiralling back into the black hole of depression, feel as though i am an awfull mother.

I am tempted to take ignatias again, because that seemed to help so much before, but am reluctant and indecisive as to whether i should do so .

Thank you John,

I will wait until tomorrow to take the calc as GM warned about taking at bedtime interrupting sleep, and i understand that Ign and Nux are incompatible???
I'm staying away from the IGN, and suspect that it helped during acute symptoms( of grief and inability to stop crying in front of my midwife) but is not indicated now. It is only tempting to try something that helped so much before , and hard to think clearly when in the throes of "mood"

THANK YOU
