It must be obvious that I can't think these days.

My son has been a long time nightowl too, but last night he never slept at all. He said he would be drifting off to sleep and then something inside would wake him up. And he is still wide awake and cheery at 10:30 AM. For the last few months he could not sleep before 3:00 AM. Then he would sleep till noon. Don't get me wrong, I have tried the "wake them up early and they'll sleep earlier" routine. It doesn't work at all, they just miss their precious sleep.

He has pimples on his nose and straight up his forehead in a column. He has changeable moods, friendly and cooperative one day, and bossy and angry the next. He has taken Carcinosin with good effect for some time. It does not seem to work as well in water. He needs the dry dose! He has trouble with concentration and hates his schoolwork. Easily distracted. He is very artistic and wants to spend all his time drawing or doing computer graphics. Someone from Microsoft has offered to work with him on a game! He whistles a lot lately. Lycopodium didn't seem to help him a few months ago, although it did once before that.

I am homeschooling him because of all this, but our life is chaotic and we really have to get some order here. Thanks for your help.

He has a crack on his lower lip, not in the middle.

He can be sleepy and not able to sleep. He said his mind is always busy, active, and he can multitask mentally. But he is usually lazy about chores and schoolwork.

Dear Kescah,

Cracked lower lip/pimples on nose & forehead = bry,graph,nat-c,nux-v,sep,sulph,mez
If no cause for waking, then nat-c or sulph.
If woken by dreams or thoughts, then nux-v.

Possible busy life is cause for sleeplessness lately; and note mood. This points to nux-v.

If o.k. by loss of sleep , then nux-v. Followed by sulph.

May find him to be 'sulph' as constution; but nux-v 1st.

NO! natrium mur. its a effect from carc, see my other answer about the girl, NM is the antidote to carc. Exactly the same problems and symptomes. Under it, you find sulphur.

Thank you. We have opted for Nat m. My son has been hitting the salt shaker frequently, and my daughter has read on all of these and says, "OK, though it's hard to choose, I'm putting my life in GM's hands." We really appreciate everyone's help, and we'll let you know what happens. Also, can anyone explain this: We always have two people in the family needing the same remedy!

While my son's sleep has not improved yet, I do think Nat-m is right for him. His skin has improved (temporary, I suspect, as it came first) and he has cut back on salt since taking the remedy. He has also changed the way he treats our cat. He was previously terrorizing her for the fun of it, and now has stopped doing that to relieve her of the stress. His general mood is much better, relieving the rest of us of much stress! But hopefully, his sleep will cycle all the way back to nighttime and normalize. Thanks for your concern, Paty, and thanks GM for the information leading to his improvement.

I find it very strange that you people do not talk about the potency of the drug to be used and used

According to my openion the potency of the drug to be used is as important as the drug selected or even more

Yes, agreed. He is on Nat-m 1M, which I know can take awhile to help the sleep problem, but he had taken the other potencies before.

To PRATAP: I'm glad you brought this up....I am NOT a Homeopath - just a year or two follower - trying to learn more.....I could never understand why the potencies aren't given at the same time as the suggestion or PRESCRIPTION> Would you please open a new thread and inquire about this......I'm sure it will help all of us that are trying to learn.
