My sister just found out that her cervix was much too short .9 instead of the normal 7 (cm?). In fact she went from .9 to .7 and the doctor's are suggesting a possibility of labor within 20 days. She is due end of November. Is there anything she can take to prevent this? They want to close her cervix by a surgical procedure to prevent this. She has another ultrasound the next tuesday.
Her first child came 2 weeks early, the second one was a month early. Will she need a constitutional remedy, or is there some remedy that can help with this.

How is she taking this what is her mood?

Has she undergone any stress or fright ?

Does she agree with the DR. s that she WILL give birth soon? In other words ; does she have any other labor symptoms besides the dilation?

Does she have any anger? or Irritibility?

Is there ANY thing going on with the mother to be that you can relate NOW? ANYTHING AT ALL?

Is there ANY pain?

I await your response!

If this is a "NOW" emergency and I do not respond to your response to the above questions , then give "ACONITE" 1M.

If there is tremendous irritability, then give "NUX-V" 1M instead of "ACONITE".


If you do not have the 1M potency , then give the highest you have.


If early childbirth is inevitable , then the child must be as best prepared for the shock.

Soon as child is born administer "ACONITE" 1M or 10M or 50M.....HIGH potency. (rub on wrist or behind ear of child. Be very cautious about putting under tongue.)
If you do not have "ACONITE" in a HIGH potency (for child) , then GET it.

Administer ONLY 1 dose for mother of "NUX-V" OR "ACON"; and ONLY 1 dose for infant as soon as born.


That is all I have to offer , until I receive more information.

My sister had severe hyperemesis for the first four and a half months, she was given a termination package from her hospital (she is a allopathic doctor). She took everything in her stride. The moment she started feeling better she had lots of visitors, drove over 400miles for an alumni get together. My mother was visiting her and she wants to make everyone happy. She has great energy and has a great sense of responsibility (eldest in the family). She is slightly bossy, but very caring. This pregnncy was unexpected, but she is not unhappy about it. There was also a disappeared twin. With the premature birth of her second child, there was lot of complications, but she didn't breakdown. She is a fighter.
Currently there is a slight problem with her mother-in-law who doesn't get along with her eldest daughter (4.5 yrs old), and her husband had taken up for his mother. The mother-in-law(84 yrs) wants to return to India and the hisband was planning to travel with her, which will probably not happen now.
She doesn't sound too upset with the current situation, but wants to prevent the surgical procedure because she doesn't like the idea of the spinal anasthesia. Even if she is upset, she'll not show it outside.
She hasn't said anything about whether she believes that the child will be born. She doesn't have other labor symptoms.
She doesn't believe in homeopathy, but I'm hoping that she'll be willing to give it a try.

What are the food cravings and aversions and what is the worst period of day?

Hi,

First of all, she went for one more checkup and since there weren't signs of further shortening, they have postponed the surgical procedure (she hadn' taken any medicine)

She is not feeling ill, and hasn't specified any particular time she feels ill. She used to like meat/fish over vegetables, but that has changed and now she prefers vegetables (cooked). She likes spicy food. Likes sweet desserts and likes fish.

Sorry I can't give more a more detailed picture.

No she has not taken any remedy. She'll be visiting us this week and if she is amenable, I want her to try homeopathy, but trying to convince her is going to be tough. She firmly believes homeopathic medines have only the placebo effect!!

Well, next time she has a hangover, give her an closed envelope containing info about the symptomes she will get, after you have given her one dose of Nux vomica 6x or 12x, it will increase the hangover severly.
Or give her a homeopatic laxative like chelidonium . If she (you) dares a little experiment.

Please wait on the chelidonium until after her pregnancy, as laxatives can induce labor, though I am sure that GM was kidding anyway. It's sure to make her a believer, though!
