My daughter has been seeing a Chiripractor for about two months for a Rotator cuff problem. With his treatment she was slowly getting better, but now has reinjured herself with everyday activity. Saturday A.M. she is scheduled for an MRI to see what damage is there. I have Arnica 100c on hand - can I give her that to help with the pain she is now having? If so, how much, how often. About a month ago she was feeling depressed so I gave her Nux (her constitution) Also in the past 4 months or so she has had Sepia for ringworm.

You can try the Arnica for pain, and if it helps you can repeat each time the pain returns.

Indeed, but if the pain returns, you may want to try Symphytum, for that repairs bone and senew, or Silica, which regenerates damaged tissue. Returning pain, treated by Arnica each time, is suppression or palliation, as it is supposed to cure, meaning no more need for a remedy. Thus you can see, that if there is a structural fault or damage, that you have to look deeper. Such problems are sometimes also covered by the constitutional remedy.

Thanks Kescah and Ben - I will give her Arnica for now until the MRI - I'll let you know what that shows and see where we can go from there.

I have seen repeated doses of Arnica cure a 16 year old injury, but agree that it is great to use the other specific remedies. I was taught in a different way; all I can say it homeopathy is great, no matter what school you are from!

Hi to all!
It has been three days since I gave my daughter Arnica and she is still in horrible pain. She had the MRI on Saturday a.m. and we should be getting the result tomorrow. I do not have Symphytum or Silica on hand so I will be going to the health store tomorrow to purchase it, if the results are not ready. She is really suffering! What potency should I purchase and what frequency of dosing?

If possible have the 30c and 200c on hand. She can start with the 30 and if it works she can take it each time the pain returns. Each new dose should be in water, shaken.

Hi All!
We got the results from the MRI today and it was normal - In talking to the Chiro, he wants my daughter to get a cortisone shot in the shoulder to see if that will reduce the inflamation....Any thoughts on that????

In my experience steriods are the most horribe treatment for any sort for any ailment.

Can you tell me why? Any other suggestions?
