Has anyone used the product "smoke free naturally" by Boericke & Tafel? I have been attempting to quit smoking for the past week - I've been smoking for 30 years and it's not easy. The ingrds. are: Caladium sequinum 6x, Daphne indica 6x, Graphites 12x, Valeriana offinalis 6x. The craving and habit (telephone. driving, etc.) are still there. Anyone have any advice??? Thanks for all responses.

That's what I'm looking for----comments!!!! Anyone see anything in this that might work???? So far it is not working....I really do want to quit - but I am hooked and having a horrible time. I've looked at all the past posts, I've been hipnotized, I've tried the Nicotrol Inhalor (I'm afraid to use the patch, because I know I'll cheat and probably give myself a heart attack!!) Please believe us whan we say WE WANT TO QUIT SMOKING...alot of us that have been smoking LOVE it but we HATE it. If anyone has any suggestions (beside "just be strong and do it") PLEASE give us anything to try........ If you have had any success in helping someone quit - |'ll try it!

Congrats for trying to quit. I've done so myself by using a homeopathic product which had some very potent medicine in it. About 100x of nux v, St johns wart, etc, etc. I not sure exactly what medicine helped but smoking would make me sick. (I think st johns wart did that) Anyhow I've used a number of products and one story remains. That these products were only able to reduce my cravings (desire & frequency) not eliminate it. My experience has been that these homeopathic products in conjunction with an exercise routine would be best. good luck.

Sal and others - Can I take the chance and LOAD up on a remedy, hoping that it might do the trick? Past experience with my homeopath ( who has since moved on) THERE IS NO CHANCE OF FINDING ANOTHER AT THIS TIME!!!! Please do not telll me to consult a homeopath to find a remedy!) My constitution was then Sulphur. (I do see some Nux in me too) What do you think I should try next??? Since Homeopathic remedies do no harm? is there any harm trying something that MIGHT help? Thanks to all

My MM by Boericke, pg 251 has Daphine Indica for Craving for tobacco in italics.try 6x or 6c.remember in homeopathy after the first shot of pills, you might feel worse, keep on hand things to chew on or eat, celery, carrots. gum, etc. and keep yourself occupied, give it an hour to take hold, if still heavy craving take another dose.read up on Daphne and see what you think. The antidotes are Bry.Dig,Rhus,Sep.Sil.Za according to Clark.Good luck.let me know, dege1@juno.com as I dont check BB every day.

I prescribe Caladium 12x take as needed. Apparently if you try to smoke after tsking one the taste is disgusting. There is always Tabacum. Look up the remedies and see. A good aid to addictions is Avena Sativa herbal tincture.

When I gave up, about 12 years ago, I chewed gum until I nearly bit my tongue through. I kept taking large breaths of fresh air and went on a diet at the same time as I was petrified of putting on weight!!

All the best to you.

What is your blood type? Is it "A"? Type A's have an intense need to relax and thus it is EXREMELY difficult to quit the tobacco habit, as the tobacco helps to relax. Take up another form of relaxation such a yoga. You can read about the blood type theory in Peter D'Adamo's book Eat Right For Your Type. If you find a remedy or other that works for you let us know! Good luck!

Clarke says Tobacco 200c or 1M when quitting takes away the craving. I have tried so myself and quit within a week. I used to smoke 50 sigs a day! (and loving it) This is over 18 years ago and I have never felt the craving again. I have stopped before - even for 6 years - but always the craving remained. Now, whenever i smell the stuff, it makes me sneeze and it stinks!
