I have said this before and I will say it again. Do you use more than one key to enter your house? do you drive your car in more than one gear at a time? why do you think that you have problems like acidity? Stop confusing your body with mixed treatments and you may have a chance of a cure. And if you see a homoeopath, why do you see a regular as well? do you not trust your homoeopath, or your regular? If you want treatment, you must stick witheither of the two. you cannot have your cake and eat it too.Cholesterol, excuseme, but that is a load of poppycock. it is at best one of the symptoms and should never be treated as an isolated thing. If you suffer from it - quite possible, with our western diet - mention it to the homoeopath, and if you take other medication, he is a fool if he allows that. The relationship between allopathic medicine and homoeopathic remedies is insufficiently known and the one can antidote the other. We simply do not know. So any symptoms developing should always be reported to the homoeopath. I do not know if you have access to a pharmacopioea, but you should look up the side-effects of your cholesterol treatment and immediately stop it if it is such. Or alternatively, if it is not a side-effect, you must leave out either of the two treatments, to see which has given you nausea, or if it is due to the combination.

There is nothing like piece meal treatments so far constitutioal problems are concered. Diabetes, Cholestrol etc cannot be set right effectively by any piece meal approach. All the symtomps- past and present- should be taken into considrartion.Acidity is in any reality a 'new' problem or a reoccurecnce of any long back suppressed symptom. Only your detailed case hist.can reveal. If it is in fact a new one then is it in the proving of the remedy you are taking. How can you sort out these if you are taking combination of homeopathic remedies or a combination of diverse'pathies'? Please adopt a classical approach and donot 'confuse you system'as Ben says.

In practical experience I have noticed that it is very dificult to remove a pt from other drugs immediately like Hypertensio,Sugar,Asthma,Rheumotid Arthritis,Insomnia etc because of their dependance on such medicines for quite long time in the past. It would be better if they are removed from these gradualy, tapering off the medicine in consultation with alopathic Drs.Ultimate aim should be to cure and not to stamp the cure with one's own system of medicine.

In some cases it is possible to do withought (the help of other pathies) in others one does require to taper off gradually yet in others it is possible to do so astonishingly fast. It depends, as you would have known by your own experience, upon so many factors .

It is very encouraging for me to know that one can do away with other drugs in all cases while putting a pt on Homeopathy. Would you please suggest a remedy as an alternate to Beta Blocker to control the BP. I have used Allium Sativum Q, Lach, Glon, Aco, Bell etc but still in severe cases I couldnot get rid the pt from other drugs in the initial stage.

I trust the remedy to take care of everything, even if the other pathies are stopped dead in their tracks. I have always heard that one should not take a person off beta blockers for instance, but my experience has shown that it is entirely feasible, without danger to the patient. So I would suggest that nothing but the homoeoapthic remedy be administered.

You may want to look at spigelia, digitalis and other typical heart remedies. BP can be checked by them also. The fact that BP is not mentioned in the books is because when they were written, BP was not known. So I always look at heart remedies when BP is either high or low and carefully check the pulse.

Synthesis ( F. Schro.}mentions exactly one hundred remedies for high B.P. But as usual no piece- meal approach should render a substantial and lasting result.A wholistic constitutional approach most certainly can.
