The remedy Staphysagria, also given as 1 dose of 200c is very useful after deep incision wounds to help with initial pain.

Thank you so much for the info. This is for a relative living far away. I have both on hand but in lower dose. Arnica 12c and 30c; staphysagria 12c. Shall I order your suggested dosage for one dose therapy or should I try the 12c/30c? If I can find the 200c staphy and 200X arnica, can overnight the delivery to him. What are your thoughts. He's had a lot of pain.

No, you must go high after surgury--I use Arnica 10M, Hypericum 10M, Staphasagria 10M and Ledum 10M (NOT all together!!) as the situation demands.

A lot of MDs in my area have started experimanting with homeopathy (groan) and are handing out arnica 30c before and after surgury...doesn't work too well and what you have is even lower.

JARF!
Dont speak about potencies you dont have knowledege about, x200 works fine,(for ,bleeeding, organchocks), to heal scartissue, x12 works even better. Deep penetreating wound M, but 10 M seems to me to be too high. C i dont have any experience with, so i cant say, otherwise, your suggestions is fine.

GM,
Thanks for the suggestion. I believe I will use 12x as you suggest. Would the recommendation be a one time dose or once daily (pellets) or three times a day, until symptoms improve? Generally for trauma, I use three times daily, initially until symptoms improve markedly. Then, perhaps once daily for another day or two. My experience is, when there is a severe trauma, the body responds with healing by giving an intense dose of 12x or 12c, thrice daily. Otherwise, it seems only to act as a pain killer and the healing is slower. What do you think? Would like to send the remedy on Saturday so he will receive it by overnight delivery on Monday. Looking forwward to your response.

Do as you feel is rigth, but the best way is to alter the potence some each time, dilute, sucuss before each dose, then you achieve faster healing. Use the links on my homepages, youll find out.

When you are using a low potency of Arnica after surgery, you can add it to the drinking water of the patient and he can just sip at it as the day goes on. Refilling the glass while there is still some in there will change the potency. My son was nearly pain free after a splenectomy sipping at water with Arnica 200c in it. No medication!
