Is there a remedy indicated if a parent or grandparent had malaria?

This will depend on the taking of a full case history and the symptoms of disease. If a well indicated remedy did not work the malaria miasm could be investigated.

How effective is homeopathy in the treatment for malaria? Some homeopath doctors in India and Africa say they can never be sure if treatment is possible. Any preventive measures from repeated attacks? Any papers or reseach on this subject?

This seems to be the case in that a well indicated remedy does not seem to 'finish' the healing. Could you explain "investigating the malaria miasm"? Is there a specific remedy for that?

I was thinking specifically of the Malaria nosode. However you must check out the symptoms of the remedy to see if it fits. It is written up in Clarke's Materia Medica. I presume that you have checked out China which is the main remedy given for cure of malaria.

Are you saying that the profile picture would have to have changed to match either the malaria nosode picture or else china? The choice of nosode or china would be indicated only if the person exhibited characteristics of one of these two remedies?

In Organon 6th edition,aph-238-244,Hahnemann clearly describes how to treat malaria.In some patient with latent psora patient never regain perfect health without antipsoric treatment he says.In Boericke- Chin.sulph high potency will bring back suppressed malaria.
