Very strong headache...in sides of head (temples)

these are not nearly enough symptoms to prescribe on -what is the patients history, mentals state, generals ? What are the themes of the case, what is the causation? Do you have a full case you can put up here on the BB?

thank you sooo much for responding. I don't really have time now put up the case.

I mean her mental state is okay. She is not irratible just kind of weak and easy going.

I called one my classmates who is a year ahead of me in class and she repertorized the case acutely and came up with Gelsemium.

I think it is starting to help a bit because she actually got up and started cleaning the bathroom becuase she said it was too messy,

I am going to give her another dose now,

Please put the remedy in water for subsequent doses and stir or shake vigorously before each dose so that you are not giving exactly the same potency each time. The same potency can antidote the dose that's working and all the pain will come back.

That sounds like an Arsenicum symptom -that is exactly what they need to do when they are sick - cannot rest till things are in order, anxiety when the room is in disorder.

I repertorized hard. Very hard, and I came up with Eupatorium Perfoliatum and it her PAINS DEMINISHED WITHIN 5 MINITES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She then went to sleep, which is something she couldn't do because the pain was soooo intense. I was getting ready to take her to the emergency room. SHe was too severe in agony.

I sincerely appreciate your response, sir. I can see that she WAS also in an Arsenicum state and that probably would definitely have helped also, but I think I found the SIMILIMUM.

My GOD, the power of this art we call Homeopathy.

It is now the next day here. And she is reading the paper and feeling fine.

My God....

If you could have seen the pain she was in. I have really not seen someone suffer like that. She couldn't lay down or sit down and she was just leaned up against the wall screaming, crying.

There's really no substitute for observing/hearing/touching/feeling/smelling the patient in person for finding the simillimum. Good work! This experience should give you a good solid foundation and confidence in your prescribing abilities in the future.

Did your patient have a virus or flu? To prescribe, we need to know the state the person is in--an injury, a virus, nerve pain from spinal compression, etc. Each one would indicate a different chapter in the repertory, I think that's why we all drew a blank and were relieved to hear you had given Gels. and it had helped.

Thanks to your sharing of this case, I think we've all learned quite a bit about Eupatorium!

Intense bone pain from influenza.

There is one going around here that requires the constant attention of the homeopathic community at large.

In the middle of all this,
I called one of my ex-teachers far away who repertorized it, asked a few questions and got RHUS TOX.

I was going to give it and then I did my own repertorizing - harder then I ever had because it was my mom!!!!!

And I hit it. Bulls eye - The Similimum....

Everything cleared in minutes!!!

I just got a little worried about the competency of my teacher! He's the TEACHER AND he used MACREPERTORY. I just thumbed through Kent's.
