I think I've got the wrong Javier Gamarra. I used alltheweb.com search engine and typed in Javier Gamarra. The first link is the history of homoeopathic medicine in Argentina, then about 7th link on the list is Javier G.P. Gamarra, not Javier S. Gamarra. The former is not Brazilian, but a Spaniard. Not a homoeopath, but an ecology systems theorist. No wonder I thought he was one busy dude.

What I know about diluting potency is add more alcohol to previous potency which is going to finish. This potency will also work. Although by doing so you will not raise the potency.

jshah and others....is this true that shaking in elastic rather than glass(which I think you mean is plastic)will not work to raise the potency?

If a bottle of a remedy is about finished. Say a 30ml bottle then I fill it about 1/3 to 1/2 full with 90% alcohol and succuss a few times to distribute the remedy through the bottle.

Is that the proceedure Dr MAS that you are talking about?
Does the diluting and succussing of the remedy this few times change the potency?
What about if this has been done several times to a remedy? The strength must be slightly higher.

Yes, I find the remedy always works good after diluting it this way.

Diluting will never raise the potency from 30 to 31 unless you will stir it throughly.

Refreshing Potency

I seen some homepaths doing this practice. They refresh the potency by stiring / shaking it two to three times before administrating it to the patient. In their opinion it will effect much faster than stationary potency. If this opinion is correct then our potency could be called material potency.
