Talking

Yes- I have the proving.
Hahnemann Materia Medica pura vol 6 Page: 27.
there was a problem with the source for a long time, so that the remedy was excluded from repertories- but nowadays the problem is solved,a nd it is a valuable remedy which resembles similitude to Nux-v.

from "spirit of homeopathic remedies" by dr.GRANDGEORGE:
Av patients crave coffee and also they often feel disappointed when they've got what they wanted.

He has many observations of this kind in that book.

Sorry. I should have written it more clearly (except that I wanted you to ask!)
The pt craves and likes(!) coffee.
Then Grandgeorge writes about their vertigo that's worse when they cross a bridge over runing water (he says that that bridge symbolizes a challenge they need to undertake and they need stimulants (coffee) to do that.
And, as a separate characteristic: they want something and are often disapponted when they get it.

REGION
Muscles; joints; long bones. Digestion. * Right side. Left side.

LEADING SYMPTOMS
M OVERSENSITIVE, irritable and excitable; the slightest offence, a mere trifle, irritates.
"Its similarity to Nux vomica consists mainly in the mental condition of the patient for in Angustura we have to deal with a patient just as irritable and oversensitive as Nux vomica. He is always in ill-humour and discontented, but what enables us to discriminate is the pusillanimity of the Angustura patient. He is more of the nature of a coward. He lacks the tenacity obstinacy and the overbearing self-confidence of Nux vomica. [Choudhuri]
M Appearance.
"Appears happy and excited, but this mask hides a weak character without drive, perseverance and real willpower." [Vithoulkas]
M Enthusiasm.
"Becomes extremely enthusiastic for a particular project. In his mind, he is very creative, but he misses the intellectual power to execute it. He imagines a great future but nothing comes of it." [Vithoulkas]
M Excitement.
Quickly excited and quickly agitated. [Comp. the rapid sexual excitement but low sexual performance, and the general aggravation from touch.]
M SUDDEN anxiety at night, in bed.
M The Bridge.
"As studied by E. Valero, the Angustura vera subjects are people afflicted with vertigo when passing over water, with fear of sinking. The bridge symbolizes the passage from one shore to another, the transition between two states or two desires in conflict ['make it or break it']. They must pass over the river of daily selfish desire to reach the other side, which is paradise. They need their coffee for stimulation so they can go out and meet this challenge. … These are people who are always disappointed as soon as they reach their goals and get what they wanted. They must learn that bliss is not obtained through achievements in the material world, nor in aggrandizement of the ego, but in fulfilling the true potential of the heart." [Grandgeorge]
G Tendency to obesity.
G Great FATIGUE, most in THIGHS. [Hering]
Pain, as from fatigue, in thighs and legs, when walking, as if they were going to break. [Clarke]
Pain in the masseter muscles, as if one had fatigued them by chewing too much.
G Chilliness. Lack of vital heat and lack of irritability.
G DESIRE FOR COFFEE.
"This craving does not come out of the need to take coffee like a medicament against a tired feeling. In Angustura it is just a liking for the taste of coffee and therefore they can drink one or two litres a day and more." [Rohrer, Characteristics of Angustura vera, Hom. Links 2/93]
G < Indoor air.
G < Ascending.
> Descending.
G < Jar.
G Worse TOUCH. < Pressure.
> Rest.
G > Rising up.
> Standing.
< Walking fast.
G Coldness of affected parts.
G BITTERNESS.
Angustura has BITTERNESS as one theme running through its picture. It is one of the most physically bitter substances known to us. On a mental and emotional level there is bitterness not only from past offences but also in the present i.e. taking things in bad part and being easily offended. Personal offence from slightest wrong.
Some rubrics in which it appears:
Easily offended - raise to italics [Kent].
Embittered.
Embittered at slight offences.
Hatred - bitter feelings for slight offences.
This bitterness appears physically in various forms:
Mouth, taste, bitter.
Mouth, taste, bitter after eating and after smoking tobacco.
Bitter eructations and bilious.
[Ward, The Homoeopath, 53, 1994]
G Drawing, tension and stiffness of muscles and joints.
& Bruised, sore feeling, as after a blow. [Farrington]
Sensation of weakness and of stiffness in the whole body; as if the marrow of the bone were stiff.
Great difficulty in walking.
G CRAMPING PAIN AND TENSION IN JOINTS AND MUSCLES [esp. of extensors].
Worse Morning on waking.
& Constant desire to stretch.
"When walking, he feels a painful straining in the muscles, here and there. In the evening, after sitting for an hour, he feels quite stiff and contracted; after rising from his seat he is unable to straighten himself." [Jahr]
G SQUEEZING PAIN IN GLANDS.
G Injuries to periosteum.
& Incipient muscular contractions. [comp. Ruta]
G Faintness during headache; during nausea.
P Headache # asthma.
P Headache in evening at twilight.
P PERSPIRATION of FACE and FOREHEAD.
COLD perspiration of feet.
P Sensation as if the uterus were beating against the right ovary and right hip. [Clarke]
P Heart feels suddenly swollen.
Better Lying on left side.
& Great fear of dying.
