Dessie, Please explain the symptoms of the conjunctivitis completely. I don't understand what you mean by Lardaceous.

Warm regards,

Sorry for my English. I mean there is no secretion from the eye. It looks like two globules in the down lid. From time to time the two globules swell and fuse in an overall edema (swelling).

Dear Dessie,

I'm not sure this sounds like conjuntivitis. IT sounds more like chalazion (blocked gland)in the lower eyelid.
Since how long has she had this?
Is there any infalmmation or infection/pus?
Does the white of the eye look inflammed?
Maybe then one could be more sure of what you are talking about, as the mamagement would differ then.

Warm regards,
doctorleela

Thank you very much for your interest. She has this for more than three months. There are no signs of infection/pus. The diagnosis of one of the medicians was block gland. I have been to 4 eye specialists - 3 of them siad it is conjunctivitis. The white of the eye looks O.K.

Thank you once again.

Dear Dessie,

I think this is definitely blocked gland, or chalazion as it is called.

It is nothing to worry about, but the homoeopathic treatment is usually constitutional, based on her history. There are some specific remedies that may help, and Silica is one of them. The others are Conium, Staph and Thuja.

But the prescription should ideally be based on her complete history, like personality, physical generals, and other symptoms. The response is sometimes very slow, but they do improve.

Warm regards,
doctorleela

If there is much swelling in the eyes, Apis Mellifica would be good. It is specifically for swollen lids which are aedematous, and inflamed.

Good luck!
