What about burning soles?
http://www.homeopathyhome.com/cgi-bi...c&f=2&t=005049 I was trying to link the "Tarsal Tunnel Syndrome" and "Burning Soles of the Feet". But due to 'carolorr's posting and the discussions thereafter, I am confused. Please help me to understand. |

Chetan,
David's first few postings to you are very clear. The burning soles of feet may be due to TTS or may not be. Its very difficult to diagnose the reason for burning soles of feet. But it may be part of the symptom picture of Tarsal Tunnel syndrome if other pressure symptoms are present in the feet too. I don't see much confusion with that. IF you're looking to releiving this symptom in your father, a complete homoeopathic history needs to be taken, and a constitutional similimum prescribed. Finding the diagnosis of Burning Soles of feet will not necessarily find you the homoeopathic remedy. I would like to add, that there may be some Vitamin B12 deficiency if not a multi vitamin deficiency causing the problem, due to your pure Vegetarian diet. It is very common to see that among pure vegetarians in India. IT affects certain areas in the spinal cord and peripheral nerves giving rise to some of these type of symptoms. You may want to give him a multi vitamin or Vitamin B complex supplement. Regards, doctorleela

Even though I go barefoot all the time...I realised that in my new house...I've been here a year...the kitchen and den have a very thin carpet...no cushion(and I'm in these rooms most of the time)...is it possible that walking on this is more a source of the problem? Also...there seems to be a high concentration of lime in the water...as the previous owner left lime remover somewhere. His wife died of rheumatoid arthritus ....lived here for 35 years.

Hi Carol,
I honestly don't think you need to worry about all this. But I would advise you on the basis of what David said earlier, that you get yourself a comfortable pair of flat shoes with a soft cushioned heel, and if possible some arch support. And wear this most of the time when you work or are walking a lot. The constitutional should be able to take care of the rest. Warm regards, doctorleela
