I am unsure how they fit into the whole scheme of things - for example, my homeopath says that I can take the flower remedies along with my constitutional remedy (and that it will not antidote). I love the flower remedies but I feel as if they are antidoting (my mental symptoms improve but my physicals are worse when I take the flower remedies). Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks.

I sometimes give Bach Flower rx as a support where someone else might give Sac Lac {placebo}. I learnt this when I sat in on a experienced homeopath while at college. I don't personally feel that they antidote however if you feel that they do then don't take them.

Wouldn't a flower remedy that in its homeopathic form was very similar to the remedy be questionable?

dr edward bach got fed up with wading through stools , when he developed the Bach Bowel nosodes . So he went to Wales where he followed up on Richard Coopers Arborivital Remedies [used to cure cancer ]. It really is time someone followed up the arborivital theory!!!

It was dr.mas opinion on this board that most homeopaths use other medicines (including allopathy, herbal, magnet medicine, electro medicine and bach flower remedies etc) but they don't admit at the forum they are using other therapies with homeopathic medicines. We most prescribe placebo when our other medicines are working. Placebo give satisfaction to our patients during medicine off time.

Could you please comment on this issue?

Hi Rose,

Why not mention the mental/emotional improvements you experience on the Bach Flower rems to your homeopath? It could be very good information for your case.

I don't use Bach flower remedies in my practice simply because I don't know very much about them...but Rescue Remedy has helped many people, and it is so easy and handy to carry in a first aid kit. I've decided to study them this year and see if they can't be helpful in some way in what I do.

Hi Rose, you will be pleased to know that OH BB (Otherhealth Bulletin Board) has started a new section on "Bach flower remedies".

Visit this section in future, I will provide a link to download a free repertory on bach flower remedies including some info on flowers. I have that software in my library but uploading that software needs some technical assistance from a computer programmer. I don't know much about computer.

We are trying hard to make this bb more active.
