Question

Hi everyone, I'm now in the second year of my degree course and have to write an essay on the relationship between a particular group of remedies.

I think I may look at remedies made from fish or fish products. So far I have:
Sepia - ink of cuttlefish
Murex - purple fish
Asteria Rubens - red starfish

Ideally I would like to look at 1 other fish remedy and compare the similarities and differences between them.

Any ideas for my final remedy?

Thanks. Kara x x

How about Jeremy Sherr's proving notes on Salmon? You can make a comparison between the older remedies and their proving notes, and this newer remedy.

There is also the Red Mullet remedy (Erythrinis), the Red starfish (Asterias Rubens), the Crawfish (Astacus Fluviatilis or the Cancer Astacus), aqua marina, Eel serum (Serum Anguillar Ichthyotoxin), the lobster (homarus), herring brine (propylamin trimethylaminum), and many others...

I thought Ambra Grisea was a sea remedy, but not a fish remedy....

Question

Hi Kara, completely unrelated to your original question, but I was curious as to where you are studying a homeopathy degree, I've looked at most universities in the UK and the closest course I found was a masters in complementary medicine... help!

thanks
nic

There is a BSc in homeopathy that is in it's third year very near you , in Preston at the University of Lancashire. One of my evening class students went on to do it. She finishes this year.
