Last night my petite girlfriend had a migraine headache and took two Migraide tablets. Ten minutes later she was vomiting; went on for hours. Detroit Medical Center's Poison Control Center did some research & called me back to say 4 of Migraide's 5 ingredients were "G.I. (gastro-intestinal)irritants." But we still don't know whether vomiting was caused by the migraine or the Migraide! Girlfriend took Migraide once before but didn't get sick -- only one tablet, tho. Would appreciate sharing of advice, similar experiences, etc. and what to do next time.

I would suggest that something your girlfriend is sensitive to caused the migraine and the Migraide then caused her to vomit it out >>>>>>>as others said the problem is which remedy did that
I am sensitive to aluminium and my bodies reaction to it is to vomit if the level of the toxic load is high enough took me a long time and much more serious state to be able to track back and see what had been past reactions to various food or drink ..........beer even from a bottle will instantly give me a headache and cause me to vomit because of the aluminium contamination in its manufacture |

Pat, hasn't someone been able to cure that sensitivity to Aluminium? I have many drug/poison/chemical sensitive patients, and a good constitutional remedy strengthens them against whatever they are sensitive to. It usually never comes back either.
I would also suggest that this combination remedy may have suppressed the symptoms of the migraine and shifted it to the stomach, or she experienced a proving, probably of Iris or Sang. She should never take it again. Migraines are deep constitutional illnessess, and proper homoeopathic prescribing is needed to manage and eventually cure them. Isn't 2x too low for a remedy. There will actually be some of the physical substances in the mixture!!

Why, what does he say about you and your sensitivities?
Or, does it even matter? Perhaps you need someone fresh to analyse your case--maybe a new perspective will find your remedy. Remember, when a selected remedy doesn't cure, it's not homeopathy's fault--its the homeopath's fault! Divina

divina >>>>I would be over the moon if someone found an answer to stop my sensitivity to Al
What annoyed me was GMs insistance that he was right and everyone else was an idiot I have come to the conclusion that there is something odd very far back in our family which is blocking finding the right remedies My eldest daughter has been seeing a homeopath for 2 yrs for excema and is getting nowhere despite apparently correct remedies and nosodes it took me 3 Homeopaths to even discover the Al sensitivity |
